Labor Market Flexibility and Unemployment: New Empirical Evidence of Static and Dynamic Effects

The aim of this paper is to analyze the relationship between labor market flexibility and unemployment outcomes. Using a panel of 97 countries from 1985 to 2008, the results of the paper suggest that improvements in labor market flexibility have a statistically and significant negative impact on unemployment outcomes (over unemployment, youth unemployment, and long-term unemployment). Among the different labor market flexibility indicators analyzed, hiring and firing regulations and hiring costs are found to have the strongest effect.

W artykule najpierw zostały krótko ukazane wybrane tendencje i fenomeny, spotykane w pobożności późnego średniowiecza, które pośrednio lub bezpośrednio wpłynęły na kształtowanie się życia liturgicznego reformacji. Następnie w głównej części przedłożenia omówiono dwa zasadnicze typy liturgii Wieczerzy Pańskiej, które ukonstytuowały się w pierwszych latach reformacji: tzw. typ mszalny oraz tzw. typ górnoniemiecki. New data on the interest of ruthenium doped lanthanum strontium chromite La1-xSrxCr1-yRuyO3δ (LSCrRu) as anode in ITSOFC are presented. Microwave synthesis of mixed oxides allowed shaping of half-cells and complete cells using sputtering and screen printing methods. LSCrRu methane reforming property had been studied in a mono-chamber system coupled with a mass spectrometer in collaboration with Institut de REcherche Hydro-Québec. Anode/electrolyte interfacial reactivity had been analysed using SIMS and XRD on half cells models after ageing under H2 at 800°C. National audience; Most developed countries are facing excessive consumption of salt, saturated fat and free sugars. The reduction of salt-sugar-saturated fats (SSSF) in foods influences not only its nutritional qualities but also its sensory properties and safety (e.g.shelf-life). The main challenge is to formulate healthier foods, which will be accepted by consumers.
