El consentimiento en el proceso penal : ¿un oxímoron?
2021
We are involved in a moment of deep changes in Criminal Procedure due, among other reasons, to the permanent expansion of Criminal Law. Legislative modifications have taken place one another over the world and they have led to a functional reformulation of the role played by the protagonists of Criminal Procedure. These changes have not finished yet and the future is still to come, but new elements are already emerging: the consent of the actors of the process and of the victims and the reinforcement of the principle of opportunity are undoubtedly some of them. Probation, diversion, compliance, criminal mediation are institutions that stand on the principle of consent for procedural purpose…
A product space reformulation with reduced dimension for splitting algorithms
2021
AbstractIn this paper we propose a product space reformulation to transform monotone inclusions described by finitely many operators on a Hilbert space into equivalent two-operator problems. Our approach relies on Pierra’s classical reformulation with a different decomposition, which results in a reduction of the dimension of the outcoming product Hilbert space. We discuss the case of not necessarily convex feasibility and best approximation problems. By applying existing splitting methods to the proposed reformulation we obtain new parallel variants of them with a reduction in the number of variables. The convergence of the new algorithms is straightforwardly derived with no further assump…
Contrasting the form and use of reformulation markers
2007
This article deals with the form and use of reformulation markers in research papers written in English, Spanish and Catalan. Considering the form and frequency of the markers, English papers tend to prefer simple fixed markers and include fewer reformulators than Spanish and Catalan. On the contrary, formal Catalan and Spanish papers include more markers, some of which are complex and allow for some structural variability. As for use, reformulation markers establish dynamic relationships between portions of discourse which can be identified in our corpus with expansion, reduction and permutation. The analysis of the corpus shows that English authors usually reformulate to add more informa…

Salt, sugar and lipid reduction in solid foods; a summary of the main outcomes from PLEASURE and TERIFIQ FP7 Twin projects
2018
National audience; Most developed countries are facing excessive consumption of salt, saturated fat and free sugars. The reduction of salt-sugar-saturated fats (SSSF) in foods influences not only its nutritional qualities but also its sensory properties and safety (e.g.shelf-life). The main challenge is to formulate healthier foods, which will be accepted by consumers. In this context, two FP7 European projects, TeRiFiQ and PLeASURe have been funded on the same call (2012-2015) to investigate innovative strategies for the reduction of sodium, sugar and fat content in selected foods. Both projects focused on staple foods such as cheese, meat, bakery (cake), sauces and also pizza as an assemb…
De la performance musicale dans la Guyane traditionnelle : expression cognitive singulière d?une musique-verbe
2021
Guianese culture and traditional music, here evoked, are various. It is more a transcultural process that, along centuries, gave an original result born in the Americas, in Guiana in this case. It is a form of refoundation, of recreation of cultures and new human beings generally called Creoles. The musical performance, that I study here, is the echo of social and cultural space of this reformulation of thought, life, and conception of the world. It is, as well, a mean of transposition and transformation of the values issued of diverse sources and categories. It is in no way a second-rate cultural practice, as it is the place where were born philosophies and actions for common life as well …
La circulation des termes dans le discours médiatique : peut-on informer sans déformer ?
2016
Media diversification and information superhighways that have become faster and faster have boosted the circulation of economic terms in the popular press, along with the interaction between editorial contents targeted at the general population, which are similar in nature. This twin phenomenon of circulation and interaction was highlighted in a contrastive study of the way the German and the French press managed the euro crisis between 2011 and 2013: articles devoted to the debt of countries that are going through hard economic times require expert knowledge, but also resort to popularization strategies that show multi-level interdiscursivity.

EASARCICAPLivre dispo. dans :hal-00832739, version 1; Publish or Perish. This old adage illustrates the importance of scientific communication; essential to research, it also represents a strategic sector for each country’s competitiveness. An often-neglected topic, scientific communication is of vital importance, with new information technologies accelerating and profoundly changing how knowledge is disseminated. The necessity of optimally disseminating experts’ findings has also become crucial to researchers, institutes and universities alike, which has prompted the recent advent of Impact Factors for the evaluation and financing of research, the goal being for scientific knowledge to be …
