Posthumanistinen ajattelu pyrkii käsitteelliseen uudistamiseen, jotta tunnistaisimme paremmin ne suhteellisuudet, joiden varassa ja lomassa ihmisten elämä ja merkitykset muotoutuvat – ja ne historiat, joissa ihminen on muotoutunut erilliseksi. Identification of a new nonsense mutation (Tyr129Stop) of the SRY gene in a newborn infant with XY sex-reversal.

Point mutations and deletions of SRY gene have been described in several cases of XY gonadal dysgenesis. To date, most of these mutations affect the HMG domain of SRY which plays a central role in DNA binding activity of SRY. We report on a non-mosaic XY sex-reversed newborn girl (completely female external genitalia). The direct sequencing of SRY showed a new nonsense mutation in a codon of SRY gene flanking the 3' end of the HMG domain: a thymine is replaced by a guanine at position +387 in codon 129, resulting in the replacement of the amino acid tyrosine (TAT) by a stop codon (TAG). The role of regional competitiveness in shaping the heterogeneous impact of the Great Recession

This paper assesses the employment resilience of 202 European regions to the Great Recession by investigating the role of regional competitiveness. By using the regional shift component derived from a multiple bases shift–share analysis of employment change as a measure of regional endogenous employment growth, we show that pre‐crisis regional competitiveness determinants are associated with positive performances during the crisis period. However, the variables considered explain well the different vulnerability of the economies, but less convincingly the ability to recover. Przestrzenna metoda przesunięć udziałów stanowi alternatywę klasycznej analizy shift-share, w której nie jest uwzględnione geograficzne położenie rozważanych regionów. Wiele zachodzących zjawisk, ich rozwój czy też kierunki zmian są bowiem uzależnione od przestrzennych interakcji zachodzących pomiędzy sąsiadującymi regionami. Model przestrzennej analizy shift-share został wprowadzony do badań przez Nazarę i Hewingsa. Celem opracowania jest wskazanie na rolę instytucji w kreowaniu lokalnych (regionalnych) biobiznesów. Lokalne biobiznesy opierają się na unikatowym wykorzystaniu zarówno standardowych, jak i specyficznych zasobów terytoriów, w których są zakładane. Analizę przeprowadzono z wykorzystaniem trzech wymiarów transformacji europejskiego modelu rolnictwa: regulacji środowiskowych, dyfuzji wiedzy i informacji oraz powiązań międzyorganizacyjnych i społecznych. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań ankietowych zidentyfikowano stopień zakorzenienia instytucji zarządzających powstaniem biogospodarki w sieciach społecznych użytkowników towarowych gospodarstw rolnych w województwie opolskim.
