Creating “mathematically” sustainable world: from the spirograph, a reverse path

The approach to the subject of mathematic learning, represents, in the pedagogical-educational field, a problematic situation. Nowadays we attend to an heated discussion on the character of the basic mathematical concepts, on the analytical-critical succession between processes and objects. The purpose of these notes is to recover and to value the contribution of the autopoiesis theory in the characterization of the mathematical domain going beyond the mere reiteration, inspecting and testing new and generative paths of ideas. In this mechanism we would insert the use of the spirograph as a disturbing, uncertain element able to nourish the “mind-system”.

The Patres ecclesiae?s works were a frequent topic of discussion at the time in which many humanists stood against the decadent medieval scholastics. That Juan Luis Vives was part of this tradition is demonstrated in his commentaries on Saint Augustine works. Despite its pedagogical function, the scholia of the Valencian author became quite subjective. In this sense, his ecdotic work or, specially, his «criticisms and censures» can be mentioned. Here, Vives strongly disapproves of the intense political and intellectual turmoil of his epoch. Thus, this article is aimed at describing those annotations in which Vives adopts such an Erasmist point of view to comment Augustine?s De Civitate Dei.…

Aquesta tesi doctoral s'ocupa de les operacions discursivocognitivesd'establiment de referents i de represa lèxica de la referència en textos escritsd'estudiants de secundària.Partim d'un corpus doble constituït per seqüències narratives produïdes, d'unabanda, per alumnes de quart curs d'E.S.O (aprenents) i, d'altra banda, per periodistescinematogràfics (experts), que ens proporcionen el corpus de control i, doncs, la base decomparació de les produccions dels aprenents.En primer lloc, hem analitzat els diversos tipus d'estructures nominals ipredicatives que vehiculen la introducció dels referents discursius.
