Correlation Analysis between External Factors and Students’ Physics Learning Achievement

2018

Research was conducted to determine whether there is 1) the relationship between the state of the family of learning achievement, 2) the relationship between the state schools of learning achievement, 3) the relationship between communities of learning achievement, and 4) the relationship between the state of the family, school and community environment against learning achievement. This research is associative quantitative correlational analysis techniques. The results showed: 1) There is a positive relationship between the state of the family of learning achievement, the result of the calculation shows r table> count r ie 0.51 > 0.38, 2) There is a positive relationship between the …

Study of relationships between the structure of aroma compounds and their retention-release between vapour phase and dairy gels

2010

An integrated approach physicochemistry and structures activity relationships has been carried out to study the aroma compounds retention-release phenomenon in a fat free dairy gel added with pectin. This study aimed to identify the molecular properties that govern this phenomenon assuming that modifying the structure leads automatically to a change in the retention-release of aroma compounds. For this purpose, we have determined the partition coefficients of 28 aroma compounds in water, in pectin gels and in dairy gels supplemented or not supplemented with pectin, at equilibrium conditions using the PRV method (Phase Ratio Variation). Then, we have performed a structure-retention relations…

Revisiting the Trust–Commitment and Export Performance Link: A Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) Approach

2020

This research revisits the role of different foci of trust (interpersonal and inter-organizational), commitment (affective and calculative) and relationship lengths (inter-organizational and interpersonal) then on export relationship performance. 142 Ecuadorian non-oil exporters completed a self-administered questionnaire. This study applies fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) and the findings help to re-establish the need for both trust dimensions and affective commitment in exporter–importer relationships. This research found three possible configurations of achieving high export relationship performance. The managerial implications noted that export managers should nurture…

Fit-for-purpose chromatographic method for the determination of amikacin in human plasma for the dosage control of patients

2015

In this paper, a simple, rapid and sensitive method based on liquid chromatography with fluorimetric detection (HPLC-FLD) for the determination of amikacin (AMK) in human plasma is developed. Determination is performed by pre-column derivatization of AMK with ortho-phtalaldehyde (OPA) in presence of N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) at pH 9.5 for 5 min at 80 °C. In our knowledge, this is the first time that NAC has been used in AMK derivatization. Derivatization conditions (pH, AMK/OPA/NAC molar ratios, temperature and reaction time) are optimized to obtain a single and stable, at room temperature, derivative. Separation of the derivative is achieved on a reversed phase LC column (Kromasil C18, 5 μ…

Group music therapy with healthy adult women : an approach for well-being

2014

Research shows that music therapy is often utilized to improve the quality of life of individuals with specified diagnoses; however, the documented information regarding clinical work with healthy adults is limited. The following case study aims to investigate a group music therapy process with healthy adult women. The main objective is to identify implications group music therapy could hold for healthy adult women, such as for the purpose of quality of life improvement and the stimulation of self-actualizing experiences. The study was conducted within a clinical setting where the participants consisted of 4 intentionally selected adult women. The participants attended 12 music therapy sess…

Narrative Medicine to integrate patients’, caregivers’ and clinicians’ migraine experiences: the DRONE multicentre project

2021

Abstract Background Although migraine is widespread and disabling, stigmatisation and poor awareness of the condition still represent barriers to effective care; furthermore, research on migraine individual and social impact must be enhanced to unveil neglected issues, such as caregiving burden. The project investigated the migraine illness experience through Narrative Medicine (NM) to understand daily life, needs and personal resources of migraneurs, their caregivers and clinicians, and to provide insights for clinical practice. Methods The project involved 13 Italian headache centres and targeted migraneurs, their caregivers and migraine specialists at these centres. Written narratives, c…

Polarity study of ionic liquids with the solvatochromic dye Nile Red: a QSPR approach using in silico VolSurf+ descriptors

2016

The in silico VolSurfþ descriptors, accounting for both cationic and anionic structural features of ionic liquids (ILs) were used to develop a Partial Least Squares (PLS) model able to establish a Quantitative Structure Property Relationship (QSPR) correlation with their solvatochromic dye Nile Red polarity. The PLS model allowed prediction of ENR values for 116 ILs providing an in silico ILs polarity database.

In silico molecular investigations of pyridine N-Oxide compounds as potential inhibitors of SARS-CoV-2: 3D QSAR, molecular docking modeling, and ADME…

2020

The new coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 virus is causing a severe pneumonia in human, provoking the serious outbreak epidemic CoV-2. Since its appearance in Wuhan, China on December 2019, CoV-2 becomes the biggest challenge the world is facing today, including the discovery of antiviral drug for SARS-CoV-2. In this study, the potential inhibitory of a class of human SARS inhibitors, namely pyridine N-oxide derivatives, against CoV-2 was addressed by quantitative structure-activity relationship 3 D-QSAR. The reliable CoMSIA developed model of 110 pyridine N-oxide based-antiviral compounds, showed Q

Interaction between flavour compounds and beta-lactoglobulin: approach by NMR and 2D/3D-QSAR studies of ligands

2004

author cannot archive publisher's version/PDF; International audience; Interactions between flavour compounds and beta-lactoglobulin (BLG) have been the subject of several studies, but there are no unanimous binding site explanations. In our laboratory, interactions between BLG, and two flavour compounds, beta-ionone and gamma-decalactone, were studied by 2D-NMR spectroscopy. It appears that several amino acids affected by binding of gamma-decalactone are buried in the central cavity, whereas binding of beta-ionone affects amino acids located in a groove near the outer surface of the protein. 2D/3D-QSAR studies were performed using QSAR+ module of Cerius2 and Catalyst. The QSAR equation pr…
