Resumen El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar cómo la sostenibilidad (económica, social y ambiental), bajo el enfoque de triple línea base, afecta la calidad de servicio, el valor logístico y la satisfacción en empresas del sector marítimo. Se propone un modelo teórico que se contrasta con la información suministrada por una muestra de 50 responsables de empresas (transitarios, importadores y exportadores) en Panamá. The contribution of dynamic marketing capabilities to service innovation and performance

2015

Innovation can become a sustainable competitive advantage for service firms. However, there is lack of empirical research on how marketing capabilities support innovation. This study differentiates between operational and dynamic marketing capabilities, the latter related to strategic marketing, marketing planning and market knowledge skills. Based on a sample of 152 service firms, the results show that operational marketing capabilities influence on those dynamic marketing capabilities. Strategic marketing and marketing planning capabilities impact positively on firm's performance while market knowledge capabilities impact positively on service innovation.

Factors affecting Finnish consumers' intention to receive SMS marketing: a conceptual model and an empirical study

The study examines factors that affect consumers' intentions to participate in mobile marketing and explores the relationship between consumers' intentions to participate in mobile marketing and their experience with mobile marketing. The authors develop and test a research model with a sample of 4062 mobile phone users. The empirical model highlights that Perceived Utility (PU), context, credibility and Perceived Social Utility (PSU) are the main contributors to consumers' intentions to participate in mobile-marketing initiatives. The paper provides several contributions to both theory and practice.

Differential expression and interaction with the visual G-protein transducin of centrin isoforms in mammalian photoreceptor cells.

Photoisomerization of rhodopsin activates a heterotrimeric G-protein cascade leading to closure of cGMP-gated channels and hyperpolarization of photoreceptor cells. Massive translocation of the visual G-protein transducin, Gt, between subcellular compartments contributes to long term adaptation of photoreceptor cells. Ca(2+)-triggered assembly of a centrin-transducin complex in the connecting cilium of photoreceptor cells may regulate these transducin translocations. Here we demonstrate expression of all four known, closely related centrin isoforms in the mammalian retina. Field investigation on rilling in the experimental Sparacia area, South Italy

In this paper the results of a field investigation on rilling carried out in the experimental Sparacia area are reported. The measurements were made on a plot 6 m wide and 22 m long subjected to natural rainfalls. For ten rainfalls the total soil loss (interrill and rill erosion) was collected in a storage system consisting of two tanks arranged in series at the base of the plot. Rill morphology (rill length and cross-sections) was measured for five rainfall events, while the rill profile was surveyed for three events.
