Los relatos audiovisuales se encuentran inmersos en un profundo proceso de transformación. Las fórmulas narrativas convencionales se enfrentan al desafío (oportunidad) de lo transmediático. El presente artículo explora algunas claves de esta situación desde la perspectiva de la producción de contenidos, en un contexto de saturación comunicativa. El usuario de la comunicación dispone de un recurso muy escaso: su capacidad de atención. Lo audiovisual deberá afrontar esta dificultad a la hora de reinventarse. Shift and scale-invariant correlator using a radially stretched phase-only filter

A radial stretching of the phase only filter depending on the energy angular distribution of the target spectrum is used to perform shift and scale invariant pattern recognition. The complex conjugate of a basic size target Fourier transform and the cumulative energy angular distribution are calculated. Then the radially stretched filter providing the same energy contribution to the correlation peak independent on the target size is prepared and used in a conventional correlator, with spherical-wave illumination. The maximum scale ratio of recognizable objects equals 1:1.5. Computer simulations and experimental results, showing the performance of the filter are presented.

Digital storytelling constitutes a pedagogical tool for teachers to work on different linguistic skills while generating students’ interest and attention. This study analyses the usefulness of including digital storytelling within a didactic sequence in order to work on linguistic routines such as greetings and leave-takings in English as a foreign language. To this aim, we have worked with first year students in the Faculty of Education at the Universitat de València to improve their ability to adapt their language skills to specific situations within common daily interaction. Abstract In this paper we present one method for the characterization of the spatial light modulators (SLMs) of a real-time Vander Lugt type of correlator. This correlator uses two SLMs: one to introduce the scene and a second to introduce the frequency‐matched filter. The SLM characterization methods are in situ, that is in the correlator set‐up. Illumination conditions are different for each SLM, and consequently different characterization techniques must be used in each case. En segunda instancia se realiza un recorrido por la literatura que aborda la guerra de Malvinas a partir de tres focos narrativos: 1982-1989, 1990-2001 y 2002-2017. La periodización responde a las diferentes generaciones pero también a los procesos sociales que han acompañado una transformación política y cultural en Argentina. Color charge correlations in the proton at NLO: Beyond geometry based intuition

Color charge correlators provide fundamental information about the proton structure. In this Letter, we evaluate numerically two-point color charge correlations in a proton on the light cone including the next-to-leading order corrections due to emission or exchange of a perturbative gluon. The non-perturbative valence quark structure of the proton is modelled in a way consistent with high-$x$ proton structure data. Our results show that the correlator exhibits startlingly non-trivial behavior at large momentum transfer or central impact parameters, and that the color charge correlation depends not only on the impact parameter but also on the relative transverse momentum of the two gluon pr…

[EN] This paper presents an educational innovation project focused on the use of digital storytelling in English for Specific Purposes teaching, specifically in English language courses for Tourism.
