A modernist and traditional sight at the Christ: experience of comparative divinity The given research is devoted the analysis of theses of the modern concept of «Historical Jesus» under Markusa Borg's book «Jesus: Uncovering the Life, Teachings and Relevance of a Religious Revolutionary». To the negative criticism of the New Testament Borg opposes traditional understanding of the person and the doctrine of the Christ.
