Katecheza w szkole czy poza szkołą?

2012

In the contemporary religious education, a great amount of deliberations is devoted to the subject of religious education (by whom? to whom?), its contents (what?), aims (what for?), methods and means (how?), conditioning (where? when?), but only occasionally questions are raised about the need and justification for religious education. Meanwhile, the question of justification for religious education is gaining more and more importance in the situation of increasing secularization of social and personal life. It is important to go back and recall these arguments that justify religious education in various educational environments. The contemporary conditioning of catechesis is undergoing si…

The principles of bioethics and the growth of an intercultural bioethics

2010

In this article, I defend that the inter…

Obraz Hrista v romane Čingiza Ajtmatova "Plaha"

2011

Aitmatov introduced a biblical motif into his novel – he chose Christ examination by Pilate. The writer extended the meaning of the scene, he altered its essence and “genre,” changing it into philosophical disputation. He also invented the story of Christ sailing with his mother on the Nile and their miraculous rescue by a crocodile. These scenes are presented in such a way that they remind the myth of the birth and death of Christ which allows rating Aitmatov's figure of Christ to the fifth category of literary embodiment of Christ proposed by T. Ziołkowski and called CHRIST AS A MYTH. A figure of Christ in the novel is a symbol of the highest perfection of humanity.

Christian Hoburg and Seventeenth-century Mysticism

1967

The subject of the present paper is only seemingly a national German development—it has, in fact, to do with the universal situation of the Christian Church in modern times. The question of mysticism runs through almost all denominations. The imposing French Roman Catholic Dictionnaire de spiritualité ascétique et mystique shows it in every column. We know how important a contribution to Christian preaching and devotional literature was made by the early Greek and Oriental monks, like Ephraem Syrus, Johannes Klimakos and others, how fundamental and lasting theological concepts were developed on mystical lines by Clement of Alexandria and Dionysius the Areopagite, by Bernard of Clairvaux, by…

Skolens bibelfortellinger

2022

INTERACTION BETWEEN RELIGION AND POLITICS UN WESTERN AND EASTERN EUROPE: THE COMMON AND THE DISTINCTIVE FEATURES

2009

The common and the distinctive features in the interaction between religion and politics in Western and Eastern Europe are discussed in the paper. At the beginning, the relative, flowing character of the concepts used is outlined, and the difficulties are indicated in making generalizations, since Europe sees great diversity regarding the involvement of religions in politics. The author also outlines the causes for greater interest of religious groups in politics – a large number of religious practitioners refuse to acquiesce with the place allocated for religion in the private space, where it was positioned by the Enlightenment. In the civil society, which strives to facilitate the partici…
