The generalized cross correlation (GCC) is regarded as the most popular approach for estimating the time difference of arrival (TDOA) between the signals received at two sensors. Time delay estimates are obtained by maximizing the GCC output, where the direct-path delay is usually observed as a prominent peak. ABSTRACT As a first step to gain insight into the structure of the rotavirus virion at atomic resolution, we report here the expression, purification, and crystallization of recombinant rotavirus protein VP6. This protein has the property of polymerizing in the form of tubular structures in solution which have hindered crystallization thus far. The contribution presents the development and testing of a fluorescence retrieval scheme based on the ESA's FLuorescence EXplorer mission concept. The algorithm employs on a coupled surface-atmosphere forward model at oxygen absorption bands: i) the atmospheric effect is computed by MODTRAN5; ii) the surface reflectance and fluorescence are modeled by means of the Spectral Fitting approach. Humans can be exposed to mycotoxins through the food chain. Mycotoxins are mainly found as contaminants in food and could be subsequently excreted via biological fluids such as urine or human breast milk in native or metabolised form. Since breast milk is usually supposed as the only food for new-borns, the occurrence of mycotoxins in thirty-five human milk samples was evaluated by a newly developed method based on QuEChERS extraction and UHPLC-HRMS detection. Computed ET with the FEST-EWB model at high spatial resolution 10 m showed for the three days of analysis a mean relative error of 9.4% compared to AHS data, whereas for land surface temperature comparison a relative error of 1.6% was found. Then, LSTs from AHS and FEST-EWB were aggregated at decreasing spatial resolutions 50, 150, 300, 400, 500, 600, 750, and 1000 m, showing that the thermodynamic variability tends to disappear with a lower number of classes in the histograms and with a decrease of the coefficient of variation CV and of standard deviation values.
