The palinspastic restoration of the Sicilian crustal geological cross section (Catalano et al., 2013) points out two subsequent main thrust (MT1 and MT2) active during the Neogene tectonic evolution as well as the decrease of slip and shortening rate estimated for MT2 with respect to MT1 early main thrust. During orogenic building, syn-tectonic deposits are accumulated inside wedge-top-basin that grow on top of thrust sheets. Sedimentary and stratigraphic features of wedge-top basin change trough time following fold and thrust belt evolution. Abstract Objective: We sought to examine the clinical conditions under which 25 endodontically treated teeth underwent vertical root fracture (VRF) and to relate this condition to the time elapsed from endodontic treatment to fracture. Study Design: This was a retrospective study in which we reviewed 25 case histories of patients with postendodontic VRF and studied the effect of various pretreatment and posttreatment factors as they related to VRF. International audience; An important step in the analysis and interpretation of video scenes for recognizing scenario is the aberration corrections introduced during the image acquisition in order to provide and correct real image data. This paper presents an approach on distortion correction based on stereoscopic self calibration from images sequences by using a multi-camera system of vision (network cameras). Dans cette contribution, nous présentons les traces sur le terrain et dans les archives d’un bombardement survenu à Solonte dans la nuit du 12 décembre 1942. Le point de départ de cette recherche est une photographie conservée dans les archives du Musée archéologique régional Antonio Salinas, documentant la restauration d’une citerne de Solonte suite aux bombardements alliés. Nos recherches dans les archives ont permis de reconstituer la chronologie des faits et de mettre en lumière le rôle des Surintendants des Antiquités de la Sicile occidentale, Jole Bovio Marconi puis Vincenzo Tusa, pendant et après la guerre pour protéger le patrimoine culturel. Restoration of the feudal castle of Ventimiglia family in Castelbuono (PA)

This paper concerns the restoration of the castle of Ventimiglia family in Castelbuono; the initial part, come from the medieval period (XIVth century), underwent considerable transformations in the XVth century by Giovanni Ventimiglia, Count of Geraci. He transformed the old castle, which is primarily defensive, in their own home and restored the chapel dedicated to S. Anna, then reconfigured in 1683. Since the XIXth century the castle had a progressive deterioration and in 1920 it was purchased by the Municipality of Castelbuono.
