Stāstījuma žanri un popularizācijas diskursa līdzekļi TEDxRiga runās

Šis darbs ir izveidots, lai noteiktu visplašāk izmantotos stāstījuma žanrus izvēlētajās ar zinātni saistītājās TEDxRiga runās, kā arī salīdzinātu tajās atrodamās popularizācijas diskursa valodas raksturiezīmes, kuras iegūtas šī darba veidošanas laikā, ar Mattiello (2017) pētījumu, kas veikts saistībā ar citām TED runām. Pētījumā izmantotā metode ir satura analīze. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka stāstījumi ir neatņemama TED runu žanra sastāvdaļa un atstāstījumi ir visplašāk izmantotais stāstījumu žanrs analizētājās runās. Background: Transanal irrigation (TAI) is employed for children with fecal incontinence, but it can present several problems which require a study of their outcomes among different pathologies and without a tailored work up. The aim of our study was to evaluate the effectiveness of an advanced protocol in order to tailor TAI, prevent complications, and evaluate outcomes. Doslidžennâ bìologìčnoï aktivnostìvtorinnogo ekstraktu zì šrotu travimaterinki zvičajnoï (Origanum vulgare)

Studied the antimicrobial activity of secondary extract from oregano herbs waste (Origanum vulgare)against 7 standard test strains of microrganisms. Minimum bactericidal concentration of the extract to Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538 P-is 3.125-6.25 mg/ml and 6.25-12.5 mg/ml to gram-negative bacteria and Candida albicans ATCC 10231.Total antioxidant activity determined by DPPH, secondary extract at a concentration of 400 ug/ml was 92 %. The tested extract had photoprotective activity. Obtained results confirm the perspective of using waste of oregano herbs for making extracts and creation on their basis of pharmaceuticals, veterinary drugs and cosmetics.

Transformations Accompanying a Shift from Surface to Drip Irrigation in the Cànyoles Watershed, Valencia, Spain

Drip irrigation is widely promoted in Spain to increase agricultural production and to save water. In the Cànyoles watershed, Valencia, we analysed the consequences of change from surface irrigation to drip irrigation over the past 25 years. Study of quantitative and qualitative variations in essential oils of Sicilian oregano biotypes

Essential oil (EO) was extracted using hydrodistillation from samples of Origanum vulgare subspecies hirtum (Link) Ietswaart, gathered from the wild in various parts of Sicily, Italy; GC-FID and GC-MS analyses were subsequently performed. The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between essential oil yields and the geographical distribution of oregano wild populations based on variations in environmental factors as collection sites.
