This data was collected during an short-term incubation experiment in March 2017 that investigated the response of a surface plankton community to upwelling. This experiment was carried in the framework of the SFB754-funded KOSMOS mesocosm study that took place in La Punta, Callao, Peru between February-April 2017. A total of six different treatments were used to disentangle chemical and biological characteristics of deep water that influence surface plankton blooms: 2 different deep water sources with different nutrient concentrations; 3 treatments to distinguish the effects of inorganic nutrients, organic nutrients and deep water microbial populations. Discharge management in fresh and brackish water RAS: Combined phosphorus removal by organic flocculants and nitrogen removal in woodchip reactors

The current study combined P and N removal using organic flocculant chemicals and woodchip bioreactors in both freshwater and brackish water (7 ppm) recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). The use of carbon (C) containing flocculant chemicals in the process was hypothesized to further stimulate C-demanding N removal (denitrification) in bioreactors. The trial of combined P and N removal consisted of four treatments: freshwater and brackish water RAS with and without the addition of supernatant from flocculation process to the woodchip reactor. Conservation status of the endemic vascular flora of Sicily

The results of a comparative study of the quantitative data of the IUCN risk categories attributed to the endemic taxa of the Sicilian vascular flora are reported. 430 Sicilian strictly endemic taxa has been evaluated by comparing the data of the risk categories attributed by published sources. 400 taxa have received at least one assessment of their conservation status, 30 taxa have not yet been considered. 278 received an assessment of their conservation status in accordance with the IUCN criteria, while the remaining 152 have not yet been evaluated according to these criteria.

Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin refleksiivisyyden kehittymisen prosessia parisuhdeväkivallan hoitoon tarkoitetussa pariterapiassa. Refleksiivisyys on kognitiivis-konstruktiivisen teorian käsite, jolla viitataan yksilön kykyyn tiedostaa ja säädellä omaa ajatteluaan ja käyttäytymistään. Tutkimuksessa pyrittiin selvittämään, muuttuuko yksilöiden väkivaltaongelman käsittely refleksiivisemmäksi pariterapian aikana sekä onko kehitys samanlaista parin molemmilla osapuolilla. Tutkimus oli osa Pariterapia parisuhdeväkivallan ehkäisemisen keinona -projektia. Celem niniejszego przedłożenia jest wypracowanie kryteriologii umożliwiającej ocenę roszczeń prawdziwościowych poszczególnych religii oraz odróżnienie autentycznych religii od zjawisk pseudoreligijnych. Ze względu na złożoność problematyki ukazano najpierw tło historyczne zagadnienia oraz zwrócono uwagę na jego współczesny kontekst. W kolejnym kroku przeanalizowano istotne dla kryteriologii religii pojęcia. Należą do nich: „prawda”, „prawdziwość”, „religia” oraz „prawdziwość religii”. Pojęcie religii jest podstawowym pojęciem nauk religiologicznych. Jego rozumienie nie jest jednak pozbawione trudności. Krytycy starają się wykazać, iż wielość i różnorodność zjawisk religijnych wyklucza możliwość zdefiniowania religii. Z drugiej strony brak ogólnego pojęcia religii stanowi poważny problem dla teologii religii. Trudno bowiem badać relacje między chrześcijaństwem a innymi religiami, nie wiedząc, czym religia jest i na czym polega jej teologiczna istota. Niniejszy artykuł składa się z trzech części. Karsta reljefa morfoloģija Skaistkalnes karsta kriteņu teritorijā

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izzināt tipisku karsta izplatības areālu, izmantojot līdzšinējo pētījumu datus un analizējot LiDAR (tulk. - Light Detection And Ranging) datus, lai iegūtu pilnīgāku priekšstatu par karsta izpausmēm zemes virspusē. Pētījums veikts īpaši aizsargātā dabas teritorijā – ģeoloģiskajā un ģeomorfoloģiskajā dabas piemineklī “Skaistkalnes karsta kritenes”. Pētījuma izstrādes laikā tika pielietotas kamerālās un lauka pētījuma metodes. Tika veikta LiDAR datu analīze, lai iegūtu teritorijā esošo karsta kriteņu morfometriskos rādītājus, kas ļāva veikt tālāku datu interpretāciju.
