Bakalaura darbā tiek noskaidrota Rīgas domes un pilsētas plānotāju nostāja par pagaidu izmantošanas iespējām Rīgā un analizēti trīs dažādi piemēri, kur pagaidu izmantošana varētu tikt piemērota un tiek piemērota. Bakalaura darba “Dižkoku ģeogrāfija Ventspils novadā” mērķis bija apkopot visu publiski pieejamo informāciju par dižkokiem Ventspils novadā, ņemot vērā, ka šobrīd esošā informācija ir sadrumstalota un neprecīza. Pētījuma ietvaros ir apkopota informācija par 298 dižkokiem un potenciālajiem dižkokiem, atrasts un uzmērīts 21 jauns dižkoks un 3 potenciālie dižkoki - Ventspils novadā. Ir izveidots kartogrāfiskais materiāls par dižkoku izplatību Ventspils novada pagastos. Pētījumā sniegta diskusija par dižkoku izplatības īpatnībām Ventspils novadā un dižkoku apzināšanas problēmām.
