AbstractWD repeat domain 45 (WDR45) gene has been increasingly found in patients with developmental delay (DD) and epilepsy. Previously, WDR45 de novo mutations were reported in sporadic adult and pediatric patients presenting iron accumulation, while heterozygous mutations were associated with β-propeller protein-associated neurodegeneration (BPAN), a subtype of neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation disorders, characterized by extrapyramidal movement disorders and abnormal accumulation of iron in the basal ganglia. Astmai un hroniskai obstruktīvai plaušu slimībai (HOPS) ir liela socio-ekonomiska ietekme uz sabiedrīebu un tās ir vienas no galvenajiem saslimstības un mirstības cēloņiem pasaulē. Šo obstruktīvo plaušu slimību ārstēšana balstās uz β2-agonistu un citu zāļu bronhodilatatora iedarbību. Lai salīdzinātu ilgstošas-darbības β2-agonista olodaterola bronhodilatācijas efektu ar īslaicīgas-darbības β2-agonistu salbutamolu tika veikts atklāto pārbaužu eksperimentāls pētījums, kurā piedalījās 10 pacienti ar HOPS vai astmu, un tika noteikts abu zāļu bronhodilatācijas efekts, izmantojot FEV1 kā galveno parametru. Summary Background In patients with COPD, exacerbations are associated with poor quality of life and may shorten survival. Prevention of exacerbations is, therefore, a key objective in COPD management. Indacaterol, a once-daily ultra-long-acting β 2 -agonist, has been shown to reduce exacerbations in various studies. Το σύνθετο γεωδυναμικό καθεστώς της Ελλάδας πηγάζει από την πολύπλοκη γεωλογική της ιστορία, η οποία χαρακτηρίζεται από έντονη σεισμική δραστηριότητα και ενισχυμένη γεωθερμική βαθμίδα. Αυτή η δραστηριότητα σε συνδυασμό με το ενεργό ηφαιστειακό τόξο, ευνοεί την ύπαρξη πολλών εκπομπών αερίων, με αποτέλεσμα την κατηγοριοποίηση σε CO2-, N2- και CH4-αέρια, ανάλογα με το επικρατών είδος. Η παρούσα εργασία επικεντρώνεται στο μεθάνιο και τους ελαφρούς υδρογονάνθρακες (C2-C6) με σκοπό τον προσδιορισμό της προέλευσή τους.
