Tämä tutkimus selvittää, miten kahta ranskalaista poliitikkoa, Nicolas Sarkozya ja Manuel Vallsia, kuvataan Le Monde -lehdessä romanien karkotuspolitiikan yhteydessä. Korpus koostuu 39 artikkelista, jotka käsittelevät Nicolas Sarkozyn vuonna 2010 ja Manuel Vallsin vuosina 2012 - 2013 ajamaa romanien karkotuspolitiikkaa Ranskassa. Niistä analysoitiin poliitikkoihin liitetyt kvalitatiiviset adjektiivit. Sarkozya määrittäviä adjektiiveja oli 72 (98 esiintymää) ja Vallsia määrittäviä 69 (92 esiintymää). Romanikieli on mainittu Unescon maailman uhanalaisten kielten luettelossa. Romanien lukumääräksi on maailmanlaajuisesti arvioitu noin 20 miljoonaa, joista romanikieltä puhuu noin 10 miljoonaa ihmistä. Kieltä ei kuitenkaan opeteta kouluissa kovinkaan monessa maassa. Se siirtyy pääasiassa puhuttuna äidinkielenä vanhemmilta lapsille – tai jää siirtymättä, jolloin on vaarassa, että sen osaaminen katoaa. Romanikielen elvyttäminen vaatii konkreettisia toimenpiteitä, yhteistyötä ja uskoa demokraattiseen ajattelutapaan sekä asenteeseen. Riccobono’s method of textual criticism of the Roman legal sources was developed in Berlin at the school of Gradenwitz, and subsequently finalized during his studies in Rome with Scialoja. Already in his first publications he showed awareness towards a reluctant application of the interpolationistic method. Riccobono addressed the weakness of textual criticism of Humanistic Jurisprudence and stressed the validity of the approach of the Italian glossators and commentators.
