Variations of abiotic and biotic conditions are likely to modify the transmission of parasites and pathogens within reservoir species, and, as a consequence, alter the zoonotic risk for human. Dispersal ecology of deadwood organisms and connectivity conservation

Limited knowledge of dispersal for most organisms hampers effective connectivity conservation in fragmented landscapes. In forest ecosystems, deadwood‐dependent organisms (i.e., saproxylics) are negatively affected by forest management and degradation globally. We reviewed empirically established dispersal ecology of saproxylic insects and fungi. We focused on direct studies (e.g., mark‐recapture, radiotelemetry), field experiments, and population genetic analyses. We found 2 somewhat opposite results. AbstractIn this paper, I will provide a phenomenological analysis of somatic obsessions at times present in obsessive–compulsive disorder. I will compare two different types of bodily obsessions, which have a different neurological-physiological underpinning: anguishing awareness of one’s own heartbeat and of one’s own breathing. In addition, I will contrast these two with how one experiences one’s own liver. Tutkin maisterintutkielmassa vapaan säestyksen ulottuvuuksia eri näkökulmista. Käsittelen työssä vapaasäestyksen määritelmää, historiaa ja mahdollisuuksia käytännön tasolla työelämässä – opettajana ja muusikkona. Tutustun aiheeseen lähdekirjallisuuden - ja kolmelle musiikinopettajalle tehdyn haastattelututkimuksen avulla. Avaan tutkimusprosessin aikana myös henkilökohtaista suhdettani vapaasäestykseen ja pyrin näin vahvistamaan dialogia tutkimusaineiston ja arkikokemusten välillä. Lisäksi arvioin musiikkikasvattajien koulutuksen kehitystarpeita. Vapaa säestys on musiikkiopistojen virallisena oppiaineena vielä melko nuori.
