Progress in advanced radiative transfer models (RTMs) led to an improved understanding of reflectance (R) and sun-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) emission throughout the leaf and canopy. Among advanced canopy RTMs that have been recently modified to deliver SIF spectral outputs are the energy balance model SCOPE and the 3D models DART and FLIGHT. The downside of these RTMs is that they are computationally expensive, which makes them impractical in routine processing, such as scene generation and retrieval applications. Using VIS/NIR and IR spectral cameras for detecting and separating crime scene details

Detecting invisible details and separating mixed evidence is critical for forensic inspection. If this can be done reliably and fast at the crime scene, irrelevant objects do not require further examination at the laboratory. This will speed up the inspection process and release resources for other critical tasks. This article reports on tests which have been carried out at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland together with the Central Finland Police Department and the National Bureau of Investigation for detecting and separating forensic details with hyperspectral technology. Based on a study of an online diploma we propose a model to analyse collective media spaces. The model takes into account the spatial turn for online mediated spaces and seeks to acknowledge the spatial nature of such spaces. Our model allows us to include notions like change, cultural identity and emerging communities. It can be used to analyse other media spaces, beyond its initial target, online learning spaces, be it traditionnel media (TV, radio, print) or other online spaces (intranets, social websites and networks...).

Auditory streaming is the process by which environmental sound is segregated into discrete perceptual objects. The auditory system has a remarkable capability in this regard as revealed in psychophysical experiments in humans and other primates.
