Analiza procesów transportowych w systemach społeczno - terytorialnych w kontekście zjawiska glokalizacji

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki analizy procesów rozwoju regionalnego sektorów TSL (ST) wielkich systemów społeczno -terytorialnych (STS) w kontekście zjawisk globalizacyjnych i glokalizacyjnych.Analiza klasteryzacji terytorialnej i funkcjonalnej jest oparta o modele korelacyjne dynamiki czasowej i zbieżności strukturalno - funkcjonalnej infrastruktury kolejowej jako bazy ST w skalach czasowych – 150, 50 i 30 lat z oceną kwasi - okresowości i zbieżności na zbiorze 56 państw i wielkich STS – hiper-regionów z najbardziej rozwiniętymi ST. Udowodniono zmienność okresowości cykli zbieżności procesów i możliwość identyfikacji STS jako hiper-regionów transportowych.

On Some Vagaries of Vagueness and Information

The presence of vagueness in scientific theories (in particular, to those related to and connected with the management of information) is briefly analyzed. We consider, firstly, the problem whether vague predicates can be adequately represented by existing formal theories. A negative answer to this question produces, as a by-product, the suggestion that a good semantics for fuzzy sets can be offered by the notion of “distance from idealized items”. Secondly, some questions connected with the adequacy of “theories of information” to the multifaceted informal notion of “information” suggest to afford this problem within an enlarged dynamical setting

Vironkielistä tekstiä lukevien suomalaisten on havaittu hyödyntävän monenlaisia strategioita selvittääkseen sukukielen sanojen merkityksiä. Yksi niistä on pohjustaminen (priming). Kun kyseessä on fraseologinen yksikkö, yksi osa (prime) pohjustaa toisen osan eli kohdesanan (targetin) esiintymistä, mikäli prime on tunnistettavissa äidinkielen perusteella. In this work, we present a semantic cyber security system and we study its semantic intelligent systems vulnerabilities, focusing on the semantic attacks. For resolving semantic problems we propose a security global solution for the new generation of SCADA systems. Similar to various other diatopic varieties of German language, one finds numerous person names in Upper Silesian German, in which all possible qualities and modes of existence of the human being are focused and expressed. In the article attention is drawn once to the semantic classes oc-curring here, as well as to the types of nomination activated in the formation of the names, and then to the word formation types and the languages from which the morphemes forming the names were derived.

Artykuł omawia dzieje wulgaryzmu ciul, który z dialektu śląskiego przeszedł do odmiany potocznej polszczyzny ogólnej. Po raz pierwszy wulgaryzm zapisano w 1875 r. w śląskich dokumentach sądowych. Leksem pochodzi z gwar czeskich (por. culík ‘warkocz, spleciona kępa włosów’) lub morawskich (culík ‘sopel’). Pierwotne znaczenie uległo metaforyzacji i zaczęło oznaczać ‘narząd męski, penis’. Wyraz ciul jako wulgaryzm zaczął być używany w funkcji wyzwiska, co dokumentują zapisy archiwalne. W różnych typach kontaktów owo obraźliwe określenie mężczyzny łatwo zmieniało semantykę i ekspresyjne zabarwienie, od ‘oszusta, szumowiny’ po ‘niedorajdę, głupka’. Pierwotne wulgarne znaczenie leksemu rozszczepi…
