Antral follicle count (AFC) is a reliable predictor of ovarian response to stimulation and its inter-cycle and inter-observer variability has been extensively studied on in vitro fertilization (IVF), mostly in highly selected populations within studies not originally designed for this purpose. Il libro raccoglie gli esiti di un Workshop Internazionale di Progettazione Architettonica svolto a Sciacca. L'obbiettivo della ricerca è stata quella di evidenziare il rapporto tra paesaggio ed architettura nella città di Sciacca. I temi oggetto dello studio hanno riguardato spazi della città storica, del lungo mare e delle terme. Durante i lavori del seminario sono stati presenti numerosi architetti di fama nazionale ed internazionale che hanno presentato le loro opere.

Tarkastelen artikkelissa hedelmöityshoitoja koskevan lakiprosessin aikaista kamppailua, joka realisoitui Laiksi hedelmöityshoidoista (1237/2006). Analysoin tarkemmin lain viidettä pykälää (1237/2006, 5§) sekä siitä lakiesityksessä HE 3/2006 esitettyjä perusteluja. Pykälän mukaan lääkärin tulee valita sukusolujen luovuttajista hoitoa saavan parin osapuolia muistuttavat henkilöt, sillä lapsen tulee saada muistuttaa myös sosiaalista vanhempaansa. Stepping on invisible land: on the importance of communicating the value of soils.

Soils play fundamental roles in the functioning of the Earth's ecosystems. Despite numerous initiatives to protect soils, it continues to be generally perceived as dirt or, at best, the surface we walk on. To better understand soil perception by the public, we conducted a survey with 99 participants from Poland and Brazil. We applied opportunity sampling and conducted semi-structured interviews with 40 respondents from Poland and 30 from Brazil, and 29 unstructured interviews in Brazil. The outcome of the BEYWATCH project has been spread in various ways, including different publication channels such as scientific journals and conferences, exhibitions, standardisation efforts and liaison with other relevant scientific projects. An overview of the dissemination activities is given in section 2, they include details about the Internet presence and the project presentations in workshops and conferences. Besides, some effort has been put into contribution to standardization. Contributions to standardization is found in section 3.
