MULTICRITERIA ANALYSIS – INSTRUMENT FOR AN ACCURATE ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACT OF THE SERVICE SECTOR ON THE ECONOMY

The current paper represents an attempt to introduce multicriteria analysis as an efficient instrument to prove that the development of services in Romania has a major impact on all aspects of our economy and represents the right path to pursue in terms of economic growth, on a medium and long term basis.The paper presents a general approach to multicriteria analysis as a means to successfully reveal the impact of the service sector on the economy of Romania. Several advantages as well as limits are presented, along with a brief presentation of the concept of composite synergy of services, corollary of the multicriteria analysis.

Aim: The aim of this study was to deepen the current understanding of physiotherapists’ decision-making process and more specifically, to investigate their reflections on their clinical reasoning when examining low back pain patients. Method: Data were collected in interviews with six physiotherapists, were the stimulated recall method was used. Interviews were audio-recorded and transcribed and then analysed by content analysis. Little is known about the relationships of clinical findings in the low back with low back pain (LBP) in the normal working population. We studied whether physiotherapist's findings in the low back were associated with local and radiating LBP among a cohort (n=902) of employees in the engineering industry. A systematic non-proportional sample was drawn in strata by age, gender, and occupational class. The non-proportionality aimed at increasing sample size in smaller strata. Aims: The aim of this study was to qualitatively analyse physiotherapists’ experiences and perspectives for delivering services directly, without prescription or referral, for clients with musculoskeletal pain or dysfunction. Methods: This was a qualitative study where data were collected from questionnaires given to 34 physiotherapists, 18 of them being in direct access for 6 years and 16 for 6 months. There were 15 structured questions and 3 open-ended ones. The answers were analysed with quantitative and qualitative methods.
