New tellurium-containing ring systems

The recent discovery of a suitable synthesis of the monoanionic ditelluroimidodiphosphinate ligands [TePR2NPR2Te]− (R = Ph, iPr, tBu) has facilitated investigations of the fundamental chemistry of these chelating inorganic ligands. This article is focused on aspects of that chemistry in which the behaviour of this ditelluro PNP ligand differs from that of the well-studied dithio and diseleno congeners. The emphasis is on new tellurium-containing ring systems formed in: (a) redox transformations and (b) the synthesis of metal complexes. peerReviewed

Tutkimuksen tehtävänä on selvittää kasvatuspsykologi ja filosofi Lev Vygotskin ihmiskäsityksen filosofisia perusteita ja sen keskeisiä piirteitä. Lisäksi tavoitteena on esitellä hänen tuotantonsa loppuvaiheen kehitystä ja keskeneräiseksi jäänyttä teoriaa tunteista. Tavoitteena on selvittää, millä tavalla Vygotskin tieteenfilosofiset periaatteet mutta myös aikakauden ideologiset tavoitteet näkyvät hänen ajattelussaan. Vygotski jätti jälkeensä monipuolisen tuotannon, joka on kuitenkin kärsinyt käännösongelmista ja valikoidusta käytöstä. Adding Transitivity and Counting to the Fluted Fragment

We study the impact of adding both counting quantifiers and a single transitive relation to the fluted fragment - a fragment of first-order logic originating in the work of W.V.O. Quine. The resulting formalism can be viewed as a multi-variable, non-guarded extension of certain systems of description logic featuring number restrictions and transitive roles, but lacking role-inverses. We establish the finite model property for our logic, and show that the satisfiability problem for its k-variable sub-fragment is in (k+1)-NExpTime. The reported chemistry and reactivity of guanidinate supported group 15 elements in the +3 oxidation state, particularly phosphorus, is limited when compared to their ubiquity in supporting metallic elements across the periodic table. We have synthesized a series of chlorophosphines utilizing homo- and heteroleptic (dianionic)guanidinates and have completed a comprehensive study of their reactivity. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli analysoida yrittäjän vapautta hoivan tuottamisessa yhteiskuntafilosofisesta näkökulmasta. Tutkimuksen käsitteellinen konteksti rakentui hoivasta yrittäjyyden toimialana, jossa hoivaa jäsennettiin palveluna ja markkinaistuneena tuotteena. Tutkimuksen teoreettiset käsitteet muodostuivat Hegelin oikeusfilosofiaan perustuvista praktisen vapauden ulottuvuuksista, joita täydennettiin Berlinin negatiivisen ja positiivisen vapauden käsitteillä. The study offers a philosophical analysis of Nicholas Wolterstorff’s theory of justice and education for justice. Crucial aspects of Wolterstorff’s theory are his understanding of justice as inherent rights and justice as inherent worth. Interrelated to this are the concepts of life-goods, well-being and the good life. Within this framework of rights grounded in worth, the notions of natural human rights and human dignity occupy a special position. Dichalcogenido-imidodiphosphinates, [N(PR2E)2]− (R = alkyl, aryl), are chelating ligands that readily form cyclic complexes with main group metals, transition metals, lanthanides, and actinides. Since their discovery in the early 1960s, researchers have studied the structural chemistry of the resulting metal complexes (where E = O, S, Se) extensively and identified a variety of potential applications, including as NMR shift reagents, luminescent complexes in photonic devices, or single-source precursors for metal sulfides or selenides.
