[EN] Sharing research data is an increasingly necessary requirement for the advancement of science. The aim of this study was to analyse the policies on openness in sharing scientific research data in substance abuse journals. Journals included in the Substance abuse area of the Journal Citation Reports were used for the analysis, with reference to the instructions to authors published on the journals websites. In 67.6% of the journals, it is possible to store materials in thematic or institutional repositories; 47% accept supplemental material; 64.7% allow the reuse of data, and 41.2% admit the publication of their data on a website. Capacity constrained supply chains: a simulation study

This paper explores the relationship between constrained capacity and supply chain performance. Six capacity constraint levels are studied under different inventory policies and information sharing strategies. The results suggest that an increment of production capacity, used in industry as local approach to manage increasing incoming orders, does not necessarily imply an improvement in customer service. In presence of information distortions, the strategy of augmenting production capacity can lead to satisfy at a higher cost an over-estimated market demand. This paper presents the mathematical derivation of a new generation of the most largely used periodic review policy in supply chain: the coordinated (S, R) replenishment rule. We first derive the classical order-up-to model and then we modify it to generate the coordinated decision policy equations. We run a numerical simulation on a serial supply chain model to show differences in the two policies. We conclude on the managerial implications related to coordinated replenishment.

We analyze how environmental taxes should be optimally levied when the regulators and firms face costs uncertainties in a Stackelberg-Cournot game. We allow linear-quadratic payoffs functions coupled with an affine information structure encompassing common and private information with noisy signals. In the first period, the regulator chooses the intensity of emissions taxes in order to reduce externalities. In the second period, facing industry-related and firm-specific shocks, firms compete in the marketplace as Cournot rivals and choose outputs.
