Hem optat per focalitzar la nostra investigació, tot i l'ampla aplicabilitat de la recerca, en la detecció del futur de la nostra llengua a partir dels pressupòsits de la Psicologia Social Computacional. I això mitjançant la utilització de la simulació informàtica, basada en els autòmats cel·lulars, que ha donat els primers resultats que presentem i explicitem en la nostra aportació a l'ANUARI. Així, hi abordem el futur de la llengua pròpia a partir de la conducta referida als parlants del País Valencià i amb la intenció d'esbrinar la reversió de la substitució lingüística.

As one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, German is not any way a uniform from of communication. The present contribution will deal with German in Silesia particularly the German spoken in the Upper Silesian language island (Sprachinsel) of Kostenthal (Gościęcin). Following an introduction to the historical development of this language island. I will present several particularities of this German variety. The idiosyncrasies of the base dialect of Kostenthal that are reflected in the predominant German Umgangssprache spoken locally today will then be shown.

Dynamics of Strongly Coupled Modes between Surface Plasmon Polaritons and Photoactive Molecules: The Effect of the Stokes Shift

We have investigated the dynamics of strongly coupled modes of surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) and fluorescent molecules by analyzing their scattered emission polarization. While the scattered emission of SPPs is purely transverse magnetic (TM) polarized, the strong coupling with molecules induces transverse electric (TE) polarized emission via the partial molecular nature of the formed SPP–molecule polariton mode. We observe that the TM/TE ratio of the polariton emission follows the contribution of the molecular excited states in this hybrid mode. Two‐Dimensional Electron Gas Effects on the Photoluminescence from a Nonintentionally Doped AlGaN/GaN Heterojunction

Photoluminescence measurements on an AlGaN/GaN single heterojunction (SH), where piezoelectric and spontaneous polarization effects confine a two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG), are presented. Well-defined emissions between the bulk excitonic transitions and their LO-phonon replica are attributed to spatially indirect excitons located close to the interface. The strong interfacial electric field separates photogenerated holes and electrons, weakening their Coulomb interaction and causing a blueshift with increasing excitation intensity due to carrier population effects. Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan suomalaisten kohtuullistajien elämäntyyliä blogeissa. Aihe on ajankohtainen ja liikkuu useilla sosiologisesti kiinnostavilla alueilla. Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan kohtuullistajien kyseenalaistuksia suomalaista tai laajemmin länsimaista yhteiskuntaa kohtaan. Kohtuullistajat kritisoivat erityisesti materiaalista ja hektistä elämäntapaa. Aineistossa kyseenalaistetaan valtavirtaiset kulutus- ja aikakäytännöt. Water dissociation and water-gas shift energetics on MgO, MgO/Ag and Au/MgO/Ag surfaces

Water dissociation and the energetics of the WGS reaction on a bulk MgO, an Ag supported MgO thin film and Au/MgO/Ag surfaces is studied based on the density functional theory. The literature results for water splitting on MgO and MgO/Ag surfaces with a step type defect are repeated and further analysis on the origin of the energetically favored dissociative water adsorption are made. The reactivity towards water dissociation on the stepped MgO and MgO/Ag surfaces is attributed to four contributing factors: 1.
