Indoor air problems in schools appear to influence learning outcomes and absence rates. However, previous research has not investigated whether indoor air problems influence the social climate of schools. Therefore, we studied whether indoor air problems observed in schools associate with students' perceptions of the teacher-student relationship and class spirit. Työpaikan sisäilmaongelmien vaikutuksia opettajan elämään

Tässä tutkimuksessa selvitettiin, miten työpaikan sisäilmaongelmat vaikuttavat yleisesti opettajien elämään. Tutkimukseen haastateltiin kolmea opettajaa, jotka olivat viimeisen viiden vuoden aikana saaneet työpaikan sisäilmasta oireita. Haastattelujen rakenne oli mukailtu teemahaastatteluun sopivaksi Rosenthalin (2003) elämäkerrallis-kerronnallisesta haastattelusta. Haastattelut analysoitiin laadullisella sisällönanalyysilla. Haastatteluista selvisi, että koulun sisäilmaongelmat heikentävät opettajien ammatillista identiteettiä.
