Vaginal reconstruction is required in congenital absence of the vagina in the paediatric population and in patients with surgical (anterior exenteration) or traumatic loss of the vagina. Although vaginal agenesis is rare, its description and attempts at replacement vaginoplasty date back to antiquity. Different forms of vaginal reconstruction are described, including the use of split-thickness or full-thickness grafts, amnion, peritoneum or bowel. Quality of Life-a Goal for Schizophrenia's Therapy.

Quality of Life (QOL) assessment represents a good instrument to monitor the evolution of schizophrenia and the treatment’s outcomes. The present study has evaluated the relationship between the level of the QOL and different socio-demographical and clinical factors. Lower QOL for schizophrenic persons was influenced by the severity of symptoms and cognitive deficits, while same low level of QOL could be considered an indicator for suicidal behavior. The correct therapeutically management of individuals with schizophrenia could lead to better outcomes in terms of life satisfaction of patients and response to the treatment’s strategies.

Psychosocial Adjustment in occasional and frequent Victims of teen Dating Violence

El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el ajuste psicosocial en los adolescentes víctimas de violencia de pareja, considerando posibles diferencias en función de la frecuencia de la victimización y del sexo de los adolescentes. Los indicadores del ajuste psicológico y social analizados son el ánimo depresivo, los sentimientos de soledad, el autoconcepto, la satisfacción con la vida y la calidad de la comunicación con el padre y la madre. Participaron 672 adolescentes españoles (325 chicas, 347 chicos), entre 12 y 19 años (M = 14.45; DT = 1.62).
