Johdanto: Sosiaali-, terveys- ja kuntoutusalan (soteku) toimintaympäristö on jatkuvasti muuttuva ja kehittyvä. An educator’s competence influences the implementation of evidence-based education and the overall quality of social and health care. This study aimed to identify distinct competence profiles from Finnish social, health and rehabilitative care educators, as well as describe which personal and professional characteristics influenced belonging to a certain profile. Anotācija Promocijas darba pētījuma aktualitāti nosaka pārmaiņas, kuras saistītas ar sociālekonomisko problemātiku Latvijā 90-os gados un tās izpratnes nepieciešamību, risinot vecāka gadagājuma cilvēku integrācijas iespējas jaunā sociālā vidē. Vecāka gadagājuma cilvēki tika izolēti no iepriekšējās dzīves vietas un viņiem bija nepieciešams sociāli pedagoģiskais atbalsts integrācijai sociālās aprūpes mājā. The aim of this study was to examine Finnish social welfare professionals’ experiences of participating in CIS development. Se ofrece el perfil de la mujer que ha sufrido malos tratos, a partir de un estudio con 297 mujeres que reciben ayudas sociales por parte del Ayuntamiento de Valencia. La incidencia del maltrato en este grupo es del 37,3%. El perfil de estas mujeres, en comparación con las mujeres del mismo grupo que no han recibido malos tratos se caracteriza por ser de etnia paya, estructura familiar monoparental, estado civil separada, con varias relaciones de pareja previas y con problemas de salud psicológica.
