The Other J.M.: John Maurice Clark and the Keynesian Revolution

This paper suggests that Clark's views regarding the Keynesian Revolution illuminate some of the limitations of the Keynesian orthodoxy that developed after the war, bringing more institutional detail and a greater preoccupation with dynamic analysis. Clark developed the multiplier in dynamic terms and coupled it with the accelerator to provide the framework for business cycle theory. His analysis was not formalized and emphasized time lags and non-linearities, similar to Harrod. How was pottery made during the Bronze Age? The technological ceramic study carried out on 16 habitation and 3 funerary sites of the upper Rhine Valley and its surroundings, which date from the 10th to the 8th centuries BC, reveals an incredible variety among chaînes opératoires. Macrotraces observed on 829 ceramics are abundantly illustrated, and their interpretation is based on a review of numerous ethnographic and experimental reference papers. Segmentación del turista deportivo: el caso del espectador de la Fórmula 1

El trabajo pretende identificar grupos de turistas de un evento deportivo, el GP Europa de Fórmula 1, con relación a su motivación para el consumo deportivo y características básicas que definen dichos grupos para conocer los perfiles de turista de un gran evento deportivo. Para caracterizar a los sujetos se utilizó el análisis clúster con una muestra de 148 asistentes al evento, turistas nacionales e internacionales. Testing the group polarization hypothesis by using logit models

This paper focuses on methodological aspects of group polarization research and has two well-defined parts. The first part presents a methodological overview of group polarization research together with an examination of the inadequacy, under certain circumstances, of the traditional parametric approach usually used to test this phenomenon based on pre-test/post-test means comparison across groups. Within the conceptual discussions of ‘Muslim diaspora’, the intersection between cultural blackness and Islam has received little attention. Yet its investigation is necessary to understand the increasing conversion to Islam among people who associate themselves with cultural blackness. In this context, Islam seems to offer new means for resistance and liberation, and contributes to transnational countercultures directed against racism and socio-economic marginalisation in post-colonial societies. Este artículo propone una lectura de la obra de teatro Los quinquis de Madriz (1967) y del relato “Vida de quinqui” (1961), ambos del autor José María Rodríguez Méndez (1925-2009) a partir de la construcción que en ellos tiene lugar de una imagen de la figura del “quinqui” alternativa a la propuesta por el Estado durante el franquismo. Ein Ansatz zur Erklärung der Kundenbindung auf Basis der Theorie des geplanten Verhaltens

Traditional customer satisfaction and customer retention models are extended by integrating variables such as perceived action control or social norm. These constructs are suggested by the attitude theory as well as the theory of planned behaviour. The extended model is tested in an empirical study carried out in the movie theatre industry. The model provides an excellent explanation of customer retention, which is the target variable in the study. Implications are derived for satisfaction managers which focus on the social group when approaching a specific customer. Finally, an outline for further theoretical and empirical studies is given as well as some limitations of the proposed model.
