Tutkielmassa selvitettiin vaihtoehtoja, joiden avulla palomuuraukseen liittyvä tekninen tietoturva voidaan toteuttaa uusissa SD-WAN -pohjaisissa verkottamisratkaisuissa ja niihin liittyvissä hybridiverkoissa operaattorin näkökulmasta. A Software Defined Radio Platform Implementing a WiFi and ZigBee Receiver

A successful attempt to design and implement a multi-standard compliant Basebnd Processor is here presented. By exploiting the potential of FPGA's reconfigurability, the received signal from RF stage have been processed in order to properly decode frames of IEEE 802.11 (WiFi) and IEEE 802.15.4 (ZigBee) protocols. both falling within the ISM band (centered at 2.45GHz). The experimental implementation carried out is a practical demonstration of the Software Defined Radio concept.
Low-Cost Sensor Based on SDR Platforms for TETRA Signals Monitoring

The paper presents the design and implementation of an electromagnetic field monitoring sensor for the measurement of the Terrestrial Truncked Radio (TETRA) signals using low-cost software defined radio (SDR) platforms. The sensor includes: an SDR platform, a Global Positioning System (GPS) module and a hardware control module. Several SDR platforms having different resolutions of the analog–digital converters were tested in the first phase. The control module was implemented in two variants: a fixed one, using a laptop, and a mobile one, using a Raspberry Pi. The last years have seen a growing interest in underwater acoustic communications because of its applications in marine research, oceanography, marine commercial operations, the offshore oil industry and defense. High-speed communication in the underwater acoustic channel has been challenging because of limited bandwidth, extended multipath, refractive properties of the medium, severe fading, rapid time variation and large Doppler shifts. Energy efficient resource allocation in heterogeneous software defined network: A reverse combinatorial auction approach

In this paper, resource allocation for energy effi- ciency in heterogeneous Software Defined Network (SDN) with multiple network service providers (NSPs) is studied. The considered problem is modeled as a reverse combinatorial auction game, which takes different quality of service (QoS) requirements into account. The heterogeneous network selection associated with power allocation problem is optimized by maximizing the energy efficiency of data transmission.
