Trait emotional intelligence (EI) is a noteworthy psychological resource in nursing. However, its effects on well-being and job performance are inconsistent. Thus, we explored the latent beneficial and risk profiles of trait EI among 461 Japanese eldercare nurses. Latent profile analysis revealed six latent profiles. In addition, multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) showed that the profile with the highest overall scores on the trait EI dimensions was associated with the most beneficial outcomes (better well-being, higher job performance). Avoimen lähdekoodin ROS-käyttöjärjestelmä on yleisesti tutkimushankkeissa käytetty robotiikan kehitysalusta. Tutkielman tavoitteena on ollut arvioida onko ROS järjestelmä, joka tulee yleistymään myös robotiikan kaupallisissa ratkaisuissa. ROS-pohjaisia kaupallisia tuotteita on jo olemassa ja sen käyttöä on pilotoitu runsaasti erilaisilla sovellusalueilla. Erityisesti palvelu- ja pilvirobotiikan alueilla ROSilla on kasvavaa potentiaalia. ROS on vielä kehittyvä järjestelmä ja ei nykyisellään sovellu kriittisimpiin robotiikan tehtäviin. Background: Nursing work environments are defined as the characteristics of the workplace that promote or hinder the provision of professional care by nurses. Positive work environments lead to better health outcomes. Our study aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses of primary health care settings in Spain. Methods: Cross-sectional study carried out from 2018 to 2019. We used the Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index and the TOP10 Questionnaire of Assessment of Environments in Primary Health Care for data collection. The diary of Antonio Desbrull y Boíl De Arenos's trip to Sicily offers the possibility to observe directly the perception of the sacred art of the author, characterized by an enlightened cultural profile, but far from the neoclassical taste that is the fundamental trait common to many of the contemporary travelers. Desbrull's testimony also allows us to examine some of the main religious buildings on the island, the works contained therein and the architectural decoration, an expression of a baroque taste that strikes and fascinates the author. Positron production using a 9 MeV electron linac for the GBAR experiment

For the GBAR (Gravitational Behaviour of Antihydrogen at Rest) experiment at CERN's Antiproton Decelerator (AD) facility we have constructed a source of slow positrons, which uses a low-energy electron linear accelerator (linac). The driver linac produces electrons of 9 MeV kinetic energy that create positrons from bremsstrahlung-induced pair production. Staying below 10 MeV ensures no persistent radioactive activation in the target zone and that the radiation level outside the biological shield is safe for public access. The present study aims to provide insights into the experiences of early school leavers within the Finnish context. We conducted a narrative inquiry among eleven early school leavers who were in prison when they were interviewed. Self Determination Theory (SDT), more specifically the concept of frustration of the three basic psychological needs of competence, relatedness and autonomy, and the tendency of people to move towards more supporting environments, was used as an interpretative tool, along with contextual information. Vanhemmat kokevat pikkulapsivaiheen usein haastavana elämänvaiheena. Yksilölliset tekijät vaikuttavat siihen, miten erilaisiin elämäntilanteisiin suhtaudutaan. Aaron Antonovskyn (1987) salutogeeniseen teoriaan keskeisesti kuuluva koherenssin tunne kertoo ihmisen kyvystä käsitellä stressiä ja hyödyntää käytettävissä olevia voimavaroja.
