Management Models in Organizations and Problems of CSR Promotion: Lithuanian Case

The article tackles the problems of CSR initiatives and human resource development in Lithuanian organizations. Proceeding from the results of empirical researches the authors analyze social-cultural obstacles, which blocks up the headway of CSR processes, and particularly emphasize the problems of social responsibility in organizations of state/public administration, and especially in educational system. They maintain and prove necessity of value management and reconstruction of management models through introducing of ethics infrastructure in organizations.

Summary: This article proposes that historians and political theorists should exploit parliamentary sources to move from the writing of national histories to the comparative study of the conceptual history of European political cultures. Complementing the German lexicographical approach to conceptual history, the authors argue that parliamentary debates in several European countries provide more reliable sources for the past use of the language of politics. Development of bidirectional dc-dc converters for hybrid power sources - Final Report

A Bidirectional Isolated Full-Bridge Converter was designed, prototyped and tested. The device is intended to interface a Bank of Supercapacitors with a battery-powered bus, in order to boost the capability of supplying large power peaks. The converter was based on the Isolated Dual Active Bridge configuration. When driven by an external control voltage, it is capable of generating in both directions a train of current pulses, with 2kW peak power, for any battery voltage in the range 24-32V and for any supercapacitor voltage in the range 35-70V. Worst-case battery current was 70A. Pulse duration was 100ms with 50% duty cycle and 1 ms rise time.

Major ions and trace elements composition of rainwater around the two industrial areas of Milazzo and Priolo Gargallo (Sicily - Italy)

This database shows the concentration of major ions and trace elements in rainwater from two polluted industrial areas of Sicily, Milazzo and Priolo Gargallo, collected from June 2018 to July 2019, through a network of 11 bulk collectors to sample bulk atmospheric deposition, for a total of 131 samples collected. Different sources, both natural and anthropogenic, for both major ions and trace elements have been recognised. This study also highlighted some critical issues with common methods of sampling and analysing atmospheric deposition. The separation of powers and responsibilities has evolved over time in Italy given that political ideals have been pushing towards a greater decentralization for the last twenty years. Under environmental federalism issues, an interesting case of study - capable of being empirically treated - is the attribution of power to the Regional governments over the management of mining and quarrying.
