RESUMEN En este trabajo se comparan los sistemas vocálicos del español y del chino pronunciados por hablantes nativos con el objetivo de presentar a continuación las peculiaridades del sistema vocálico español de un grupo de estudiantes de China con un nivel intermedio de español. In a globalized world, numerous groups of people come into permanent contact with each other and experience psychosocial changes. These changes, produced during contact between culturally different groups, are called acculturation. La lengua española es estudiada por millones de personas en todo el mundo, dada su gran importancia en la sociedad actual. Sin embargo, los diccionarios no son aprovechados al máximo, por los estudiantes ya que, generalmente, estos usan el diccionario bilingüe durante toda su trayectoria de aprendizaje. Además, estos cuentan con el beneplácito de los docentes, a pesar de la existencia de otras obras lexicográficas que se adaptan mejor a las diferentes etapas que existen en el aprendizaje de un idioma extranjero.

RESUMEN El locus de control ha sido estudiado en el deporte, sin embargo no existia un instrumento valido para evaluarlo en deporte infantil. Este estudio lleva a cabo la validacion espanola del Children´s Sport Locus of Control Scale (CSLCS) que desarrollaron Tsai y Hsieh (2015). La adaptacion presenta dos fases: una primera exploratoria con 248 ninos entre 7 y 16 anos para observar el comportamiento cualitativo de los items; y una segunda con 221 deportistas entre 8 y 22 anos en la que se modifico el cuestionario para ajustarlo a los resultados obtenidos. The Orton's hypothesis about hemispheric lateralization and reading writing performance revisited: an ex post facto study in Spanish context

This paper attempts to inquiry the connections between hemispherical laterality and reading-writing performance, based on the theory that Samuel T. Orton established over 60 years ago. No evidence has been found to show a significant correlation between both constructs. Therefore, the widely held belief that the one depends on the other can be refuted.
