Keskivartalon lihaksilla on tärkeä merkitys jokapäiväisessä elämässä kehon tukijana ja tasapainon säilyttäjänä. Up-conversion and Photoluminescence in Er3+ Single Crystal MgAl-spinel

Abstract Traditional and up-conversion luminescence of MgAl 2 O 4 single crystal doped with erbium ions obtained by the Verneuil method has been investigated. The time resolved spectral measurements of the green and red up-conversion luminescence bands show that a build-up part is present in the up-conversion luminescence kinetics. This means that energy transfer process is involved in the creation of the luminescence. Considering rather small concentration of Er 3+ in the material (0.12 mass %), the expected up-conversion mechanism should be excited state absorption since the average distance between erbium ions is high. Abstract The ADONIS: CE was used to design a specific management model for the Sabanejewia aurata (De Filippi, 1863) populations. The proposed model is based on this species, in situ identified biological/ecological necessities in relation to the habitats, the conservation status indicators and appropriate management actions and the pressures and threats founded in the study area. Such on species, on habitats and on site based management system was done to complete this approach for ROSCI0132, the other fish species which are living there being treated already in this respect.

Using calculated chemical potential relationships to account for coronas around kyanite: an example from the Bohemian Massif

Corona textures around kyanite, involving for example zoned plagioclase separating kyanite from the matrix, reflect the instability of kyanite with the matrix on changing P-T conditions, commonly related to decompression. The chemical potential gradients set up between the kyanite and the matrix as a consequence of slow Al diffusion drive corona development, with the zoning of the plagioclase reflecting the gradients. Synthetic materials based on calcium phosphate (CaP) are frequently used as bone graft substitutes when natural bone grafts are not available or not suitable. Chemical similarity to bone guarantees the biocompatibility of synthetic CaP materials, whereas macroporosity enables their integration into the natural bone tissue. To restore optimum mechanical performance after the grafting procedure, gradual resorption of CaP implants and simultaneous replacement by natural bone is desirable. Odontoid fractures are the most common fractures of the cervical spine, especially in the elderly. They account for approximately one third of cervical spine fractures, and with the aging of the world population, the incidence and clinical and social relevance of such pathology are likely to increase.
