The current study proposed the adaptation of the Utrecht-Management of Identity Commitments Scale (U-MICS) to the religious domain as an instrument to measure both individuals’ religious identity formation processes (when a variable-centered approach is adopted) and religious identity statuses (when a person-centered approach is adopted). Darbā tiek atspoguļota un analizēta patstāvīgo valsts pārvaldes iestāžu problemātika. Mērķis ir identificēt galvenās problēmas saistībā ar šīm iestādēm un to darbību, kā arī piedāvāt iespējamos risinājumus. Galvenās darbā apskatītās problēmas ir patstāvīgo valsts pārvaldes iestāžu nepieciešamība un vieta valsts pārvaldes sistēmā, šo iestāžu tiesiskais statuss un tiesības izdot ārējos normatīvos aktus, kā arī iespējas uzraudzīt un kontrolēt šo iestāžu darbu. Early Health, Risk Aversion and Stock Market Participation

To examine the relationship between early health status and financial decisions in adulthood, we link information on birth weight in 1966 from the Northern Finland Birth Cohort to data from the Finnish Central Securities Depository over the period of 19952010. We find that persons predisposed to poor health status in early childhood (indicated by low birth weight) avoid participating in the stock market in adulthood. The link between birth weight and stock market participation is partially explained by the fact that poor early health status leads to risk aversion. Early health status is not significantly related to the portfolio’s value-growth tilt. nonPeerReviewed

The 4th National Report ex Art. 17 of the 92/43/EEC Directive in Italy (period 2013-2018) will try to fill a number of gaps still affecting the former versions of the Italian Reports, where territorial data were still missing for large parts of the country and the assessment was mostly based on the use of the expert opinion. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot vai pastāv statiski nozīmīgas saistības starp pusaudža uzrādīto veikto vai pārciesto vienaudžu vardarbību, mātes noraidījumu-pieņemšanu pret bērnu saistībā un ar ģimenes sociālekonomiskiem faktoriem, un noskaidrot, kādi mainīgie lielumi prognozē pārciesto un veikto vienaudžu vardarbību. This article examines how students in a multidisciplinary project-based learning course involving real customers perceive their interactions with their customers. The authors conducted a qualitative study and analysed students’ learning reports by means of a thematic network analysis. The analysis shows how students perceive their status in relation to their customers and how their perceptions of their work affect how they see the value of the projects.
