Thermodynamic and spectroscopic study of the binding of dimethyltin(IV) by citrate at 25°C

Thermodynamic (potentiometric and calorimetric) and spectroscopic ( 1 H NMR, 119 Sn Mossbauer) studies were performed in aqueous solution in order to characterize the interaction of dimethyltin(IV) cation with citrate ligand. Six species {(CH 3 ) 2 Sn(cit) - ; [(CH 3 ) 2 Sn] 2 (cit) 2 2- ; (CH 3 ) 2 Sn(cit)H 0 ; (CH 3 ) 2 Sn(cit)OH 2- ; [(CH 3 ) 2 Sn] 2 (cit)OH 0 ; [(CH 3 ) 2 Sn] 2 (cit)(OH) 2 - } were found. All the species formed in this system are quite stable and formation percentages are fairly high. The photophysical and DNA-binding properties of the cationic zinc(II) complex of 5-triethylammonium methyl salicylidene ortho-phenylenediiminato (ZnL 2 + ) were investi- gated by a combination of experimental and theoretical methods. DFT calculations were performed on both the ground and the first excited states of ZnL 2 + and on its possi- ble mono- and dioxidation products, both in vacuo and in selected solvents mimicked by the polarizable continuum model. International audience; A strategy was developed to append sterically hindered apical pickets on both faces of the BODIPY platform to prevent stacking and aggregation. Ortho-substitution of both the meso-phenyl ring and the boron-bound catechol affords the right directionality to append pickets, achieve face discrimination, featuring two inter-convertible atropisomers, and is reminiscent of the picket-fence strategy in porphyrins.

Studying the Cognitive Map of the US States: Ideology and Prosperity Stereotypes Predict Interstate Prejudice

What are the spontaneous stereotypes that U.S. citizens hold about the U.S. states? We complemented insights from theory-driven approaches to this question with insights from a novel data-driven approach. Based on pile sorting and spatial arrangement similarity ratings for the states, we computed two cognitive maps of the states. Based on ratings for the states on ∼20 candidate dimensions, we interpreted the dimensions that spanned the two maps (Studies 1 and 2). Bakalaura darba mērķis ir veikt lēcas radiālo kropļojumu labošanas un attēlu izlīdzināšanas algoritmu izpēti, kā arī veikt to implementāciju programmējamos loģikas masīvos, kā sastāvdaļu no stereo redzes sistēmas, kas paredzēta attēla dziļuma karšu veidošanai. Autors aprakstīs risinājumu algoritmus un, lai demonstrētu Bakalaura darba ietvaros izvirzītās problēmas iespējamo risinājumu, izmantojot programmējamos loģikas masīvus, darba autors veiks praktiskās daļas izstrādi, kas sastāvēs no lēcas radiālo kropļojumu labošanas un attēlu izlīdzināšanas algoritmu implementācijām VHDL valodā. Darbs sastāv no 55 lappusēm, 18 attēliem, 2 tabulām un 7 pielikumiem. Darbā izmantoti 23 literatūras avoti.
Lokālā stereotesta izstrāde stereoanomālijas novērtēšanai

Maģistra darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 40 lapām. Tas satur 25 attēlus, 3 tabulas, 37 literatūras avotu atsauces. Darba mērķis – izstrādāt jaunu, datorizētu smalko disparitāšu lokālās stereoredzes novērtēšanas testu un izpētīt, vai stereoanomālija ir novērojama pie saīsināta stimula demonstrēšanas ilguma. Tika izstrādāts datorizēts anaglifu tipa stereoredzes novērtēšanas tests. Dalībnieku uzdevums – diferencēt, kā stimuls vērts pret references objektu. Pētījumā piedalījās 52 dalībnieki, pusei no dalībniekiem bija normāla stereoredze un pusei izpaudās viena no stereoanomālijām. Darba mērķis: Noskaidrot, cik stereoanomālo dalībnieku ir novērojami populācijā, izmantojot jauno globālo stereotestu, kurā iespējams ierobežot testa stimula rādīšanas laiku, un izvērtēt jaunā stereotesta efektivitāti un pielietojumu klīnikā, salīdzinājumā ar TNO stereotestu. Pētījumā tika izmantots jaunais stereotests ar ierobežotu (200 ms) un neierobežotu stimula rādīšanas laiku. Papildus jaunā stereotesta rezultāti tika salīdzināti ar TNO stereotestu. I nuovi uffici municipali di Castelvetrano si contraddistinguono per la sapiente articolazione compositiva sia dell’impianto planimetrico sia della stereometria della fabbrica. I grandi scavi operati sul volume, le sregolature delle bucature sconnesse del fronte laterale, il ritmo irregolare dei pieni e dei vuoti, sono elementi di una interessante complessità, che trova una sintesi indubbiamente significativa nell’essenzialità del volume che le accoglie
