Vienaudžu atgriezeniskās saites izmantošana lietišķās sarakstes mācīšanā augstskolā

Tā kā rakstu valodas pilnveide ir aktuāla tēma augstskolā, bija svarīgi uzzināt par vienaudžu atgriezeniskās saites īstenošanas efektivitāti darījumu vēstuļu apguvē. Uzmanība tika pievērsta lietišķai sarakstei angļu valodā, jo šim žanram ir svarīga loma cilvēku profesionālajā un ikdienas dzīvē. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi, gadījuma izpēte tika izmantota kā galvenā pētniecības metode. Pētniecības dati tika iegūti ar pirms- un pēcaptaujām, pirms- un pēctestiem, ieskaitot kvalitatīvo un kvantitatīvo paraugu analīzes. Ethical issues in the teaching and learning of health topics in schools: the conceptions of teacher trainees

There has been little research on how teacher trainees can be educated to deal with ethical issues, or on trainees' conceptions of these issues. Using written essays, this study aimed to examine health education teacher trainees' (N = 35) conceptions of the ethical aspects involved in teaching and learning health topics. A qualitative content analysis revealed three broad themes: health education as an ethical subject, the teacher as an ethical professional, and spaces for learning. The results reflect the content areas focused on in health education teacher training, and provide new insights into topics that can be useful in developing teacher training. peerReviewed

The paper focuses on the ?unexpected pathways? of successful students with an immigrant background: these biographical routes, that seems socially impossible, raise theoretical issues around the individual-society, actor-structure relationship. In the last decades, the Italian University System has encountered several structural reforms aimed at making it more internationally competitive. Among them, the introduction of the University financial autonomy has triggered an “internal” competition among Universities to attract students from the entire country. Students’ enrollment at the first level has decreased significantly especially after the economic crisis of 2008, while the students’ migration from the South to the Central and Northern regions of the country has increased. Student teachers and their identity construction and awareness of multilingualism: re-visiting three studies

[EN] This article re-visits three studies that originally focused on beliefs about second language (L2) learning and teaching held by student teachers. The studies have been conducted in the same educational context (that is, at a Finnish university). The participants in the studies are majors or minors in English, Swedish, German, etc., and they range from first-year students to fifth-year students about to graduate as qualified L2 teachers. Data have been collected by a variety of means over the past few years (questionnaires, sentence-completion tasks, drawings), and partly longitudinally.
