Abstract The study focuses on teachers’ and children’s shared moments of joy in early childhood education settings and contributes new knowledge in educational research by exploring joy as a relational rather than an individual phenomenon. The theoretical and methodological framework draws on a narrative approach and Martin Buber’s dialogical philosophy. Data were gathered through video observations and diary notes in open ECE groups in Finland, with children from 2 to 6 years. In this article, we analyse the discursive construction of business–society relations in Finnish businesses’ social and environmental responsibility reports. Drawing on critical discourse analysis, we examine how these discursive constructions maintain and reproduce various interests and societal conditions as a precondition of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Tutkimuksen tavoitteena on pyrkiä ymmärtämään lähisuhdeväkivaltaan liittyviä haasteita ammattilaisten näkökulmasta. Tutkimukseni kohdistuu siihen, minkälaisia esteitä lähisuhdeväkivaltaa työssään kohdanneet ammattilaiset kertovat liittyvän lähisuhdeväkivalta-aiheen puheeksi ottamiseen. Tutkimuksessani selvitin puheeksi ottamisen vaikeutta ja etsin ammattilaisten tapoja selittää tätä. Valitsemaani aihetta perustelen sillä, että tätä näkökulmaa ei ole mielestäni riittävästi aiemmin tutkittu. Olin jo vuosia kerännyt satunnaisesti metsistä löytämiäni roskia. Syyskuussa 2019 aloin kantaa päivittäisillä retkillä mukanani pusseja ja kerätä roskia järjestelmällisesti. Pussit täyttyivät nopeasti tupakantumpeista, käärepapereista, juomatölkeistä, shampoopulloista, miesten boksereista sekä kaikesta muusta ilmeisestä ja yllättävästä.

Kandidaatintutkielma käsittelee yritysten markkinointia sosiaalisessa mediassa. Tutkielmassa esitellään sosiaalisen median käsitteitä ja keskitytään kuluttaja-markkinointiin. LUOTSIVA on Jyväskylän yliopiston kieli- ja viestintätieteiden laitoksella 2017–2019 aikana Media-alan tutkimussäätiön rahoituksella toteutettu tutkimushanke. Sen päämääränä oli löytää ja kokeilla keinoja, joilla sanomalehdet voisivat hyödyntää Facebook-sivujaan lukijasuhteen vahvistamiseen ja aktivoimiseen. Toimituksissa toteutetun kokeilujakson aikana neljä kotimaista sanomalehteä toteuttivat postaus- ja keskustelustrategioita omilla Facebook-sivuillaan. Teaching is recognised as an emotional practice. Studies have highlighted the importance of teachers’ emotional literacy in the development of pupils’ emotional skills, the central position of emotions in teachers’ ways of knowing, and in their professional development. This longitudinal study draws on a dialogic understanding of emotion to present findings from qualitative interviews with teachers. This study aims to provide further understanding in this area by offering a perspective into 7 foreign language teachers’ emotions in relation to their pupils during their first decade in the profession. Previous studies have shown that civil authorities fail to understand the nature of stalking and the harmful consequences it causes victims. The aim of this study was to investigate how the victims of partner stalking had perceived the actions of civil authorities and the stalking investigation process. The data were drawn from conversations among members of an internet-based peer support group for female victims of partner stalking. Challenging Unequal Gendered Conventions in Heterosexual Relationship Contexts through Affective Dissonance

In Nordic countries, intimate relationships are routinely compared against ideals of gender equality, even though equality is not always achieved in everyday life. In this article, we analyse interviews with women that lived in unconventional relationships: mid- to later-life women in relationships with younger men, and bisexual women who have had relationships with people of different genders. The women’s expectations of equality and reciprocity in heterosexual relationships collided with the lived reality of inequalities, causing affective dissonance.
