Tässä tutkielmassa perehdytään suoratoistoon ja sen tekniseen perustoteutukseen. Lisäksi vertaillaan erilaisia tapoja toteuttaa suoratoisto; pääpainona vertaisverkkopohjaisten suoratoistosovellusten vertailu muihin toteutustapoihin. Tavoitteena oli tutkia kirjallisuuskatsauksen avulla erilaisia toteutusvaihtoehtoja sekä puntaroida niiden hyviä ja huonoja puolia. Katsauksen perusteella suoratoiston toteutus on vielä voimakkassa murrostilassa ja erilaiset teknologiat kilpailevat keskenään. Paremmuusjärjestystä eri toteutustapojen välillä on vaikea määrittää. Aim We propose a novel approach that considers taxonomic uniqueness, functional uniqueness and environmental uniqueness and show how it can be used in guiding conservation planning. We illustrate the approach using data for lake biota and environment. Location Lake Puruvesi, Finland. Methods We sampled macrophytes and macroinvertebrates from the same 18 littoral sites. The significance in Finland of shipping on inland waterways has been great. This is due to the topography of the country with its many lakes and to the fact that the vast waterways in their natural state were easily navigable. The construction of canals resulted in even more extensive interconnected inland waterways. This study explores the tasks of the steamships plying these internal waterways, their numbers and significance, and also changes and the reasons for these between different inland waterways, as regards different types of vessels and shipowners in the period from the 1870s to the 1960s. Tutkimuksen tausta ja tarkoitus Nivelrikko on maailman yleisin nivelsairaus. Pääpaino nivelrikon hoidossa on lääkkeettömässä hoidossa. Nivelrikkopotilailla on todettu olevan alhaisempi aerobinen kunto terveisiin verrattuna. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tutkia vesiharjoittelun vaikutusta aerobiseen kuntoon polven niverikkoa sairastavilla postmenopausaalisilla naisilla. Tutkimusaineisto- ja menetelmät Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin Jyväskylässä vuosina 2012-2013. Tutkimusasetelmana oli randomisoitu kontrolloitu tutkimus.
