Influence of Offline Activities and Customer Value Creation on Online Travel Community Continuance Usage Intention

The purpose of this study is to empirically test a model that examines the roles of offline activities and customer value creation on tourists’ continuance use of online travel communities (OTCs). Hypotheses were tested through a sample of 251 respondents on Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk). SmartPLS structural equation modelling was used to test the structural model. Results indicated that offline activities significantly influence hedonic and social values, while this support was not found with functional value. Tässä tutkimuksessa oli tavoitteena selvittää mitkä tekijät vaikuttavat Netflixin käyttöön. Online-videopalveluiden käyttö on Suomessa jo varsin yleisellä tasolla (Karkimo, 2015) ja sen vuoksi on tärkeä ymmärtää mitkä tekijät käyttöön vaikuttavat, jotta palvelua voidaan kehittää ja asiakkaita palvella entistä paremmin. Netflixin käytttöön vaikuttavia tekijöitä ei olla aiemmin suoraan tutkittu. The purpose of the research was to identify the motivations and opinions on copyright and online music piracy on the Internet through Peer-to-peer (P2P) Networks. The research was carried out as a Master's Thesis in the Digital Culture program at the University of Jyväskylä. Quantitative research methodology was utilized in the form of questionnaires, which were distributed for two weeks through the mailing list and personal invitations at the University of Jyväskylä. 48 responses from people of 22 nationalities were received.
