Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin aineetonta pääomaa tuotantovarallisuutena luovien alojen perheyrityksissä. Aineeton omaisuus voi muodostaa yrityksen keskeisen kilpailukyvyn, mutta sitä voi olla esimerkiksi rahoittajan näkökulmasta vaikea määritellä vakuudeksi. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena olikin selvittää kuinka yrittäjät näkevät aineettoman pääoman yrityksessään ja kuinka aineettoman pääoman arvo käytännössä määritetään. A test of the effort equalization hypothesis in children with cerebral palsy who have an asymmetric gait.

Healthy people can walk nearly effortlessly thanks to their instinctively adaptive gait patterns that tend to minimize metabolic energy consumption. However, the economy of gait is severely impaired in many neurological disorders such as stroke or cerebral palsy (CP). Moreover, self-selected asymmetry of impaired gait does not seem to unequivocally coincide with the minimal energy cost, suggesting the presence of other adaptive origins. Primordial dark matter from curvature induced symmetry breaking

We demonstrate that adiabatic dark matter can be generated by gravity induced symmetry breaking during inflation. We study a $Z_2$ symmetric scalar singlet that couples to other fields only through gravity and for which the symmetry is broken by the spacetime curvature during inflation when the non-minimal coupling $\xi$ is negative. We find that the symmetry breaking leads to the formation of adiabatic dark matter with the observed abundance for the singlet mass $m\sim{\rm MeV}$ and $|\xi|\sim 1$.

High-energy evolution to three loops

The Balitsky-Kovchegov equation describes the high-energy growth of gauge theory scattering amplitudes as well as nonlinear saturation effects which stop it. We obtain the three-loop corrections to this equation in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ super Yang-Mills theory. Our method exploits a recently established equivalence with the physics of soft wide-angle radiation, so-called non-global logarithms, and thus yields at the same time the three-loop evolution equation for non-global logarithms. As a by-product of our analysis, we develop a Lorentz-covariant method to subtract infrared and collinear divergences in cross-section calculations in the planar limit. Wittgenstein’s “Inner and Outer”: Overcoming Epistemic Asymmetry

In this article, I identify three ways in which Wittgenstein opposed an idea of epistemic asymmetry between the first person and the secondor-third person. Examining the questions of 1) absence of doubt about my own experience and uncertainty about the experiences of others, 2) ineffability of subjective experience and 3) immediacy of my knowledge of my own experience contrasted with my merely inferential knowledge about the experiences of others, I see Wittgenstein’s remarks about “inner and outer” as a many-faceted denial of the claim that people’s minds are in some deep way unknowable to others.
