Recalled parental rearing style, self-esteem, and psychopathological symptoms in the general population

The enduring impact of perceived parental behavior on self-esteem as well as anxiety and depression in adults is still unknown. In a large random route sample (age range 18?92), 4,747 subjects were asked to complete questionnaires about recalled parental rearing, selfesteem, anxiety, and depression. Structural equation modeling was used, and the data from the mother and the father version of the FEE (a questionnaire for recalled parental rearing) were analyzed separately. A model proposing that self-esteem mediates the relationship between parental behavior and psychopathological symptoms fits the data rather well (CFI = .95, RMSEA = .05, TLI = .94). Šī pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādi ir depresijas simptomu profili mērījumos starp klīnisko un neklīnisko (vispārējo) izlasi. Pētījuma galvenais jautājums bija, kādi būs indivīdiem novērojami depresijas simptomu profili jeb kāda būs depresijas simptomu heterogenitāte? Pētījumā piedalījās 292 respondenti. Pētījuma dalībnieki bija vecumā no 14 līdz 53 gadiem (M = 34,27; SD = 11,12; sievietes 75,3%; vīrieši 24,7%). Background This article uses the logistic regression model for diagnostic decision making in patients with chronic nasal symptoms. We studied the ability of the logistic regression model, obtained by the evaluation of a database, to detect patients with positive allergy skin-prick test (SPT) and patients with negative SPT.
