Code Contracts ja ComTest-yksikkötestausgenerointi .NET-kielissä
2015
Tällaiset ehdot voidaan automaattisesti kirjoittaa osaksi koodin kommentteja. Code Contracts on laajennos .NET-kieliin, jonka avulla sopimuspohjainen suunnittelu saadaan osaksi sovelluskehitystä. Tutkimuksessa selvitetään, miten ComTest ja Code Contracts liittyvät toisiinsa. ComTest, a tool mainly directed to make teaching more efficient, is able to create Unit Tests based on directions written in the code comments. In…
Motivations, engagement and adoption of e-WOM in restaurants.
2022
Switching and redox isomerism in first-row transition metal complexes containing redox active Schiff base ligands.
2014
International audience; The reversible redox isomerisms in first row transition metal complexes of the type ML2 were studied. The six ML2 complexes (M = Mn(III) (), Fe(II) (), Co(III) (), Ni(II) (), Cu(II) () and Zn(II) ()) were synthesized with a redox active Schiff base ligand [2-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxyphenylamino)-4-chlorophenol] (H3L) presenting different oxidation states from -2 to 0 (L(2-), L(-) and L(0)). EPR spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate the presence of complexes of the type [Mn(III)(L(2-))(L(-))] () with S = 1/2, [Fe(II)(L(-))2] () with S = 2, [Co(III)(L(2-))(L(-))] () with S = 1/2, [Ni(II)(L(-))2] () with S = 1, [Cu(II)(L(-))2] () with S = 1/2 and …
Gold/Isophorone Interaction Driven by Keto/Enol Tautomerization
2016
The binding behavior of isophorone (C9H14O) to Au adatoms and clusters deposited on MgO/Ag(001) thin films is investigated by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and density functional theory (DFT). The STM data reveal the formation of various metal/organic complexes, ranging from Au1/isophorone pairs to larger Au aggregates with molecules bound to their perimeter. DFT calculations find the energetically preferred keto-isophorone to be unreactive toward gold, while the enol-tautomer readily binds to Au monomers and clusters. The interaction is governed by electrostatic forces between the hydroxyl group of the enol and negative excess charges residing on the ad-gold. The activation barrier b…
High Resolution X-ray Spectroscopy of T Tauri Stars in the Taurus-Auriga Complex
2006
Differences have been reported between the X-ray emission of accreting and non-accreting stars. Some observations have suggested that accretion shocks could be responsible for part of the X-ray emission in Classical T Tauri stars (CTTS). We present high-resolution X-ray spectroscopy of nine pre-main sequence stars in order to test the proposed spectroscopic differences between accreting and non-accreting pre-main sequence stars. We use X-ray spectroscopy from the XMM-Newton Reflection Grating Spectrometers and the EPIC instruments. We interpret the spectra using optically thin thermal models with variable abundances, together with an absorption column density. For BP Tau and AB Aur we deriv…
Study of a sample of faint Be stars in the exofield of CoRoT
2013
International audience; Context. Be stars are probably the most rapid rotators among stars in the main sequence (MS) and, as such, are excellent candidates to study the incidence of the rotation on the characteristics of their non-radial pulsations, as well as on their internal structure. Pulsations are also thought to be possible mechanisms that help the mass ejection needed to build up the circumstellar disks of Be stars.Aims. The purpose of this paper is to identify a number of faint Be stars observed with the CoRoT satellite and to determine their fundamental parameters, which will enable us to study their pulsation properties as a function of the location in the HR diagram and to searc…
Phase Relations, Reaction Sequences and Petrochronology
2017
At the core of petrochronology is the relationship between geochronology and the petrological evolution of major mineral assemblages. The focus of this chapter is on outlining some of the available strategies to link inferred reaction sequences and microstructures in metamorphic rocks to the ages obtained from geochronology of accessory minerals and datable major minerals. Reaction sequences and mineral assemblages in metamorphic rocks are primarily a function of pressure ( P ), temperature ( T ) and bulk composition ( X ). Several of the major rock-forming minerals are particularly sensitive to changes in P–T (e.g., garnet, staurolite, biotite, plagioclase), but their direct geochronology …
Quantifying geological uncertainty in metamorphic phase equilibria modelling; a Monte Carlo assessment and implications for tectonic interpretations
2016
AbstractPseudosection modelling is rapidly becoming an essential part of a petrologist's toolkit and often forms the basis of interpreting the tectonothermal evolution of a rock sample, outcrop, or geological region. Of the several factors that can affect the accuracy and precision of such calculated phase diagrams, “geological” uncertainty related to natural petrographic variation at the hand sample- and/or thin section-scale is rarely considered. Such uncertainty influences the sample's bulk composition, which is the primary control on its equilibrium phase relationships and thus the interpreted pressure–temperature (P–T) conditions of formation. Two case study examples—a garnet–cordierit…
Flares from small to large: X-ray spectroscopy of Proxima Centauri with XMM-Newton
2003
(Abridged) We report results from a comprehensive study of the nearby M dwarf Proxima Centauri with the XMM-Newton satellite. We find strongly variable coronal X-ray emission, with flares ranging over a factor of 100 in peak flux. The low-level emission is found to be continuously variable. Several weak flares are characteristically preceded by an optical burst, compatible with predictions from standard solar flare models. We propose that the U band bursts are proxies for the elusive stellar non-thermal hard X-ray bursts suggested from solar observations. A very large X-ray flare was observed in its entirety, with a peak luminosity of 3.9E28 erg/s [0.15-10 keV] and a total X-ray energy of 1…
