Rolę multidyscyplinarnego zespołu diabetologicznego w leczeniu osoby z cukrzycą podkreślają zarówno polskie, jak i międzynarodowe zalecenia. Znaczenie dostępności opieki psychologicznej dla samopoczucia i zdrowia psychicznego osób z cukrzycą (i ich opiekunów), a także dla wyników leczenia cukrzycy jest przedmiotem licznych analiz. Pomimo rekomendacji i badań pokazujących korzyści z interwencji i wsparcia psychologicznego, brakuje danych na temat rzeczywistej dostępności takiej opieki zarówno w Polsce, jak i na świecie.

Association between lower extremity muscular strength and acute knee injuries in young team‐sports athletes

The purpose of this study was to investigate LE muscular strength variables as potential risk factors for all and non‐contact acute knee and ACL injuries in young athletes. A total of 188 young (≤21) male and 174 female basketball and floorball players participated in LE muscular strength tests and were followed up to three years. The strength test battery consisted of 1RM leg press, maximal concentric isokinetic (60°/s) quadriceps and hamstrings and maximal isometric hip abductor strength. Aim Our study aimed to investigate changes of different markers for routine assessment of fatigue and recovery in response to high-intensity interval training (HIIT). However, in the previous studies, the focus has been on goal effectiveness among individual male athletes and at one point in time. Insights into Finnish first-year pre-service teachers’ twenty-first century skills

This study focuses on Finnish pre-service teachers’ perceptions of their twenty-first century skills, especially their learning strategies, collaboration and teamwork, as well as knowledge and attitudes related to ICT in education. The target group consist of 263 first-year pre-service teachers from three universities. The results outline how pre-service teachers perceive their twenty-first century skills, the relationships between different areas of these skills, and the differences among pre-service teachers in terms of perceived skills.
