Statistical Approximation of Fourier Transform-IR Spectroscopy Data for Zinc White Pigment from Twentieth-Century Russian Paintings

We present a statistical model for approximation of experimental Fourier transform-IR spectroscopy (FTIR) data for paint samples from paintings of different ages. The model utilizes random variations in some parameters (initial ageing rate, degree of change in ageing rate and time at which the change occurs). We determine the parameters characterizing variation in the paint composition and the storage conditions for the paintings. The numerical calculation is qualitatively consistent with the experimental data. Relationship between trophic state and plankton community structure in 21 Sicilian dam reservoirs

The relationship between the trophic state of 21 Sicilian dam reservoirs and their taxonomic community structure of phytoplankton (87 taxa) as well as zooplankton (45 taxa) have been examined by means of cluster analysis performed using annual average biomass values. The phytoplankton community structure was closely connected with the trophic state of the reservoirs, whereas the zooplankton community structure was related to hydrological regimes peculiar to the individual water bodies and not to the trophic state. © 1994 Kluwer Academic Publishers.

Este documento tuvo como objetivo analizar la evolución de la oferta exportadora de Santander entre el año 2000 y 2012, revisando los patrones de concentración o diversificación. Para ello utilizó como metodología el cálculo del índice de Herfindahl-Hirschmann. Los hallazgos encontrados establecen que la oferta exportable se ha concentrado por lo que las políticas diseñadas para promover la diversificación de producto no han tenido los efectos esperados y es necesario el diseño de nuevos lineamientos para tal fin.
