MUV: A Game to Encourage Sustainable Mobility Habits

This working paper investigates the question of changing people mobility towards more sustainable habits involving them in an engaging gameplay. The work is performed within MUV H2020 research and innovation action. The game design, definition and features have been co-created through the involvement of different citizens and stakeholders in six European neighbourhoods. The paper discusses the game design as resulting from co-creation and co-design experiences with each neighbourhood communities involved in initial phases. The consumption of the soil due to urbanization it is a phenomena already for many years under observations, but of which only the scientific environment has noticed the elevated environmental impact progress. From a disciplinary point of view, is possible to identify a line of research focusing on the analysis and identification of new morphologies of urbanization and on the interaction among different settlement patterns coexisting in a specific context. tale percentuale se considerata per i comuni costieri supera il 75% del territorio urbanizzato. Nel caso dei sistemi naturali i fenomeni di pressione umana pesano su una situazione già critica data da una distribuzione puntuale delle aree protette. Il livello di frammentazione e isolamento di queste aree rischia di peggiorare. In Sicilia l'assenza di strumenti di valutazione ambientale e lo scollamento tra pianificazione urbana e regionale e pianificazione settoriale hanno determinato un inadeguato livello di controllo della pressione umana sui sistemi ambientali. Riguardo a questo quadro generale il presente documento presenta un chiarimento e una riformulazione del rapporto di reciprocità tra ambiente edificato e territorio aperto con l'obiettivo di individuare possibili strategie per gestire i fenomeni di dispersione urbana nel contesto metropolitano obiettivo principale delle politiche territoriali europee e di molte politiche nazionali degli Stati membri.Settore ICAR/20 - Tecnica E Pianificazione UrbanisticaIl consumo del suolo a causa dell'urbanizzazione è un fenomeno già da molti anni sotto osservazione ma di cui solo l'ambiente scientifico ha notato l'elevato impatto ambientale. Da un punto di vista disciplinare è possibile individuare una linea di ricerca incentrata sull'analisi e l'identificazione di nuove morfologie dell'urbanizzazione e sull'interazione tra i diversi modelli insediativi che coesistono in un contesto specifico. Questa lettura si integra con la produzione scientifica sulle forme di pressione insediativa sui sistemi ambientali producendo cambiamento e deterioramento degli ecosistemi naturali e perdita di biodiversità. Un riferimento necessario per questa linea sono gli studi sui processi di frammentazione (lineare concentrato misto) e quelli sulla segregazione degli habitat naturali e seminaturali (protetti o non protetti). Tali riferimenti si combinano con le analisi condotte sul processo di sostituzione dei sistemi naturali con l'ecomosaico artificiale. Lo stato dell'urbanizzazione in Sicilia è interessato dal fenomeno della dispersione urbana che a partire dagli anni Settanta ha contribuito fortemente a plasmare il territorio regionale sia dal punto di vista fisico che funzionale. Il cappero appartiene alla famiglia delle Capparidaceae, sottofamiglia Ajugodeae Briq., trib. Rosmarinae Briq., genere Capparis Sp.:23 (1753). Il genere Capparis comprende circa 250 specie distribuite nella fascia tropicale e subtropicale del Vecchio e del Nuovo mondo. Nell’area del bacino del Mediterraneo la più diffusa risulta Capparis spinosa. 1.-Del primer artículo que lleva por título: “¿Estamos viendo realmente el total de costes de las infecciones quirúrgicas? Un estudio español” (1). Como conclusión cabe comentar que el coste hospitalario debido a la prolongación de la estancia hospitalaria fue de 10.232€ o el 10% del total de los costes. Il saggio presenta i risultati di un lavoro di ricerca condotto sulle emergenze tecnologiche della città di Palermo che si caratterizzano come elementi del paesaggio urbano. In particolare i sistemi di trasporto dell'acqua e dell'energia del gas per l'illuminazione delle strade hanno contribuito a definire l'immagine del paesaggio urbano costruendo un sistema di relazioni che anche dopo la demolizione di alcuni di questi baluardi hanno mantenuto una riconoscibilità. La trattazione contribuisce a delineare il tema comune a tutti i saggi che caratterizzano la pubblicazione della comunicazione del paesaggio attraverso diversi sistemi di trasmissione delle informazioni.

Injury and Throwing Distance in Teenage Cyclist- Vehicle Crash

The study of the injury caused by vehicle-teenage cyclist crash is presented in this paper. The results of the crash with three vehicles: sedan, SUV and Pick up are compared. Three different positions are analyzed: front, rear and lateral position. The injury on the cyclist head is examined by HIC criterion, in the way indicated by the rules. A comparison is done between the results of the simulations for Pick up, SUV and sedan, concluding that the injury of the head is more dangerous for Pick-up impact than SUV or the sedan, but only at greater speed than 40 km/h.
