On-the-job medical training is known to be challenging due to the fast-paced environment and strong vocational profile. It relies on on-site supervisors, mainly doctors and nurses with long practical experience, who coach and teach their less experienced colleagues, such as residents and healthcare students. Abstract Drawing on studies of the performative effects and agency of texts in organizations, the paper investigates how the agency of texts figures through their participatory status in interaction. The empirical data for the study consist of video-recorded performance appraisal interviews in a Finnish public organization in which the interaction relies heavily on an appraisal form. The data are analyzed through a sequential analysis that draws on multimodal conversation analysis and ethnographic knowledge. Abstract The amount of available digital data is increasing at a tremendous rate. These data, however, are of limited use unless converted into a user-friendly form. We took on this task and built a natural language generation (NLG) driven system that generates journalistic news stories about elections without human intervention. In this paper, after presenting an overview of state-of-the-art technologies in NLG, we explain systematically how we identified and then recontextualized the determinant aspects of the genre of an online news story in the algorithm of our NLG software. Šī elektroniskā bibliogrāfija aptver no pētniecības pirmsākumiem 19. gadsimtā līdz 2019. gadam tapušos valodnieciskos pētījumus par latviešu valodas 16.–18. gadsimta tekstiem. Tajā apkopoti dažāda apjoma pētījumi, sākot no zinātnisko konferenču tēzēm un beidzot ar vairāku sējumu izdevumiem. This electronic bibliography covers linguistic studies dealing with early Latvian texts (16th–18th cc.) from the research on these started in the 19th c. until 2019. It comprises studies of various kinds, from conference abstracts to issues comprising several volumes.

Pro gradu –tutkielma käsittelee 1990-luvun liikkeenjohtoajattelua ja foucault’laista valtakäsitystä sekä hallinnoimisen teemaa. Tutkielman aineisto koostuu Yritystalouslehden artikkeleista vuosilta 1990–1999. Lopulliseen aineistoanalyysiin on valikoitunut 20 henkilöstöjohtamisen aluetta käsittelevää artikkelia. Tutkimus on tekstianalyysia. Tarkastelun kohteena on se, mistä tutkimusaineistossa puhutaan ja minkälaiseksi liikkeenjohtamisen tehtävät ja kohteet aineistossa käsitetään.
