Hawkins, pero trabajando independientemente el uno del otro. La segunda teoría pertenece a la Psicología Cognitiva y es de D. Gentner. Es interesante comprobar la fuerte congruencia que existe entre ambas teorías a pesar de tener, naturalmente, metodologías totalmente diferentes. Artemisinin represents a showcase example not only for the activity of medicinal herbs deriving from traditional chinese medicine, but for phytotherapy in general. Its isolation from Sweet Wormwood (qinhao, Artemisia annua L.) represents the starting point for an unprecedent success story in the treatment of malaria worldwide. Beyond the therapeutic value against Plasmodium parasites, it turned out in recent years that the bioactivity of artemisinin is not restricted to malaria. We and others found that this sesquiterpenoid also exerts profound anticancer activity in vitro and in vivo. Essential oil from aerial parts of Artemisia herba-alba from Morocco was hydrodistilled and its chemical composition oil was investigated by capillary GC and GC/MS. The major components were 1,8-cineole (35.6%) and camphor (24.1%). Artemisia herba-alba essential oil AHAO was tested as corrosion inhibitor of stainless steel (SS) in 1M H3PO4 using potentiodynamic polarization (PDP) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements (EIS) and scanning electronically microscopy (SEM) studies. Abstract A comparative study to investigate the influences of single component fluxes on the depth-to-width ratio (DWR) of oxygen free copper was carried out with novel variants of tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding namely Activated TIG (A-TIG), Flux Bounded TIG (FB-TIG) and Flux Zoned TIG (FB-TIG) processes. The experiments to identify the fluxes delivering the higher DWRs in A-TIG welding among thirteen distinct fluxes were followed by the trials with FB-TIG and FZ-TIG employing those identified DWR fluxes. This paper presents the results of a first investigation on the effects of lightning stroke on medium voltage installations' grounding systems, interconnected with the metal shields of the Medium Voltage (MV) distribution grid cables or with bare buried copper ropes. The study enables us to evaluate the distribution of the lightning current among interconnected ground electrodes in order to estimate if the interconnection, usually created to reduce ground potential rise during a single-line-to-ground fault, can give place to dangerous situations far from the installation hit by the lightning stroke. The main objective of this paper is to investigate how firms make strategic networking decisions in order to pursue competitive advantage. Literature analysis with theory building purposes and two case studies to support our theoretical findings and to explore the linkages between networking strategy and operations performance objectives constitute our research methods. Our analysis led to the definition of networking strategy in terms of decisional dimensions, and found effective linkages between networking decisions made by managers and wished operations performance objectives.
