Identification of a new nonsense mutation (Tyr129Stop) of the SRY gene in a newborn infant with XY sex-reversal.

Point mutations and deletions of SRY gene have been described in several cases of XY gonadal dysgenesis. To date, most of these mutations affect the HMG domain of SRY which plays a central role in DNA binding activity of SRY. We report on a non-mosaic XY sex-reversed newborn girl (completely female external genitalia). The direct sequencing of SRY showed a new nonsense mutation in a codon of SRY gene flanking the 3' end of the HMG domain: a thymine is replaced by a guanine at position +387 in codon 129, resulting in the replacement of the amino acid tyrosine (TAT) by a stop codon (TAG). Darba mērķis ir izpētīt biogēno elementu koncentrācijas mainību gadu gaitā, kā arī sezonāli, Lielupes ūdeņos. Darba izstrādē izmantoti LVĢMC arhīvu dati no 6 monitoringa posteņiem, kas izvietoti dažādos upes posmos. Dati kopumā ievākti laika posmā no 1980. līdz 2014. gadam. Darbā sniegts Lielupes sateces baseina fizģeogrāfisks raksturojums, klimatisko, ģeoloģisko, ģeogrāfisko un antropogēno faktoru raksturojums, kas ietekmē biogēno elementu koncentrāciju un tās mainību upes ūdeņos. Veikta biogēno elementu koncentrācijas mainības izpēte gadu gaitā, kā arī to koncentrācijas sezonālās mainības izpēte. Carnelutti) - materiale o immateriale - della persona che possa divenire oggetto di atti di disposizione giuridicamente rilevanti. Si individuano prospettive di indagine significative in una rinnovata considerazione del tema nel quadro della dialettica tra libertà e proprietà, autodeterminazione della persona e affidamento dei terzi, persona e mercato.

International audience; This paper deals with a debate between Hawtrey, Hicks and Keynes concerning the capacity of the central bank to influence the short-term and the long-term rates of interest. Both Hawtrey and Keynes considered the central bank’s ability to influence short-term rates of interest. However, they do not put the same emphasis on the study of the long-term rates of interest. According to Keynes, long-term rates are influenced by future expected short-term rates (1930, 1936), whereas for Hawtrey (1932, 1937, 1938), long-term rates are more dependent on the business cycle. Singular (p, q)-equations with superlinear reaction and concave boundary condition

We consider a parametric nonlinear elliptic problem driven by the sum of a p-Laplacian and of a q-Laplacian (a (Formula presented.) -equation) with a singular and (Formula presented.) -superlinear reaction and a Robin boundary condition with (Formula presented.) -sublinear boundary term (Formula presented.). So, the problem has the combined effects of singular, concave and convex terms. We look for positive solutions and prove a bifurcation-type theorem describing the changes in the set of positive solutions as the parameter varies.

Existence of two solutions for singular Φ-Laplacian problems

AbstractExistence of two solutions to a parametric singular quasi-linear elliptic problem is proved. The equation is driven by theΦ\Phi-Laplacian operator, and the reaction term can be nonmonotone. The main tools employed are the local minimum theorem and the Mountain pass theorem, together with the truncation technique. GlobalC1,τ{C}^{1,\tau }regularity of solutions is also investigated, chiefly viaa prioriestimates and perturbation techniques.
