En este artículo se analiza la noción jurídica de potestad con la pretensión de establecer su estructura y de delimitar su significado y extensión. El análisis de las potestades se construye fundamentalmente depurando cualquier elemento deóntico de su estructura y presuponiendo que son sólo normas de competencia las que las constituyen. Potestad es, por tanto, una norma que establece que un acto de un sujeto tiene como resultado un cambio jurídico, sin entrar en consideraciones deónticas referidas a su ejercicio. The aim of the present study was to investigate the mechanisms leading to muscle hypertrophy in humans by studying local muscle molecular and systemic hormonal responses to a single bout of heavy resistance exercise (RE) and to long-term resistance training (RT) with or without protein supplementation in a randomized controlled double-blinded design. In line with earlier studies, heavy RT for 21 weeks led to muscle hypertrophy and an increase in muscle strength in both young and older men. Some nutraceuticals have been studied as supportive treatment for fighting upper respiratory tract infection and middle ear disease. Our study aims at evaluating the effect of a specific oral supplementation in the treatment of pediatric otits media. The subjects were randomly assigned by the physician (single-blinded study) to one of three groups: Control Group (CG), Treatment Group 1 (TG1), or Treatment Group 2 (TG2). Both TG were treated with Flogostop Duo (for 20 days—TG1 or 30 days—TG2) in combination with the standard treatment, while CG underwent standard treatment only.
