The paper concerns the experimental results performed on steel (S 235) zinc plated panels having 1500 x 1150 x 1.5 mm dimensions, linked to hinged steel frame. In order to the slenderness of plates, considerable displacements out-of-plane are evident at loads significantly lower of ultimate load. Considering the steel constitutive curves obtained from tensile tests, the comparison of experimental and numerical (ADINA) results is proposed. The results show the excellent seismic behaviour of the system having stable hysteresis loops.

Aims: To assess and compare the optical quality of the myopic and hyperopic implantable collamer lens (ICL) from its wavefront aberrations for different powers and pupil diameters. Settings and Design: Prospective study. Material and Methods: The wavefront aberrations of two myopic (−3 and −6 diopters (D)) and two hyperopic V4b ICLs (+3 and +6D) were measured in vitro . Darbs ir rakstīts latviešu valodā un satur 40 lapaspuses. Tas satur 20 attēlus, 4 tabulas un 30 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis: Noskaidrot, cik stereoanomālo dalībnieku ir novērojami populācijā, izmantojot jauno globālo stereotestu, kurā iespējams ierobežot testa stimula rādīšanas laiku, un izvērtēt jaunā stereotesta efektivitāti un pielietojumu klīnikā, salīdzinājumā ar TNO stereotestu. Pētījumā tika izmantots jaunais stereotests ar ierobežotu (200 ms) un neierobežotu stimula rādīšanas laiku. Papildus jaunā stereotesta rezultāti tika salīdzināti ar TNO stereotestu. Globālās stereoredzes novērtējums ar anaglifa un polarizēto stereotestu

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 34 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 21 attēlu, 5 tabulas, 25 literatūras atsauces. Darba mērķis salīdzināt polarizēto un sarkani-zaļo filtru ietekmi uz stereoredzi, kā arī pievērst uzmanību rezultātu atšķirībai, kas rodas starp polarizēto un anaglifa metodi. Pētījumā tika izmantoti divi stereotesti, polarizētais tests uz Metropsis platformas un datorizēts anaglifa tests, kurš tika izstrādāts ar līdzīgu stimulu un uzdevumiem kā polarizētais tests. The goal of this study was to test the role of perceived entitativity as a potential moderator of underperformance typically associated with stereotype threat. The results of two experiments confirmed our hypotheses: Study 1 showed a lesser decrease in performance in a task of syllogistic abilities when the threat was directed to Sicilians (social category, low entitativity) rather than to their family (intimate group, high entitativity). Study 2 confirmed and extended these results through a direct measure of entitativity. Theoretical implications of these results are discussed.

Focusing on some passages of life histories collected in Asmara and based on the ‘memory of Italy’, I study the representation of the past in order to reveal the shaping of the subjective experience by the colonial discourse in Eritrea. If the main aim of my essay is the understanding of the play of interactions between individuals and collectivity, one more important element I take into account is ‘memory’ seen as a “social selection of remembering” (Halbwachs).
